So, I'm at the quest where you are to defend redcliffe against the undead that assault at night. I killed all the undead, and even went so far as to charge into that green mist and take em all on at once. Now, the event will no longer proceed and I've saved my game. How do I proceed? I sure hope I don't have to restart my entire game...
Problem at first redcliffe event.

If you're still up at the top of the hill with Ser Perth, you have to wait until a knight from down below comes up to trigger the next step. He takes you and your party down in front of the chantry to continue. Is your party all hanging out with Ser Perth waiting, or are you up in the green mist? You need to be near the path down to the chantry, it seems, for the knight to "find" you. I had issues with this too.

Also, if they are no longer spawning but you're stuck in combat and can't advance the plot, it likely means one or two undead are "stuck" somewhere. Search around the town and make sure there are none left alive. That's what happened to me anyway

Me too. Eventually I ran around by the docks and found a straggling mob and as soon as I killed him the next day came.
