Create a Spirit Healer
Give Jerrik the best Weapons/Armor/Jewelry and dmg Runes
Fully Upgrade Golem
Use tomb to Respec Brogan's class build and spec champion and anything else - Put every point into Dex then equip the Chasind Arm bow and breastplate since he wont have boots, gloves or a helm

Turn on Sustainables:
Spirit Healer- Telekinetic Weapons, Rock Armor and Cleansing Aura
Jerrik- Summon Bronto, Momentum, Dueling
Runic Golem- Cleansing Aura, Flaming Weapons
Brogan- Accuracy and Rally

Disable all Tactics and prepare to micro everything
Coat Jerriks Weapon with Quiet Death or Demonic Poison

Battle Strat:
-Run Bronto straight to harvester and use Charge then Taunt. Keep using these every time the cooldown is ready
to maintain aggro. Run in small circles around the golem and Jerrik
-Try to keep the golem and Jerrik behind the Harvester so that their damage is higher than normal
-Post up your mage and Brogan next to the pedestal switch on the right side so they can flip it every time the skeletons get out of control

This will burn the Harvester down quickly to stage 2. But wait, there is a crucial part. Damage the Harvester all the way down to a sliver of health then wait till the switch spawns. As soon as it does, finish him to enter stage 2. As soon as you enter stage 2 you can then trip the switch to kill any skeletons that are on the floor leaving him very vulnerable. He will try to run but use an all-out effort to focus fire on him  even if he summons more skeletons

I struggled for hours and hours trying to beat this DLC with a new character on nightmare. It wasnt until I did everything above that I finally realized that this was still easy and that I didnt need a high-lvl twink to beat this or have to turn the difficulty to Hard. The truth is that I wasnt expecting to play any of the DLCs so I deleted my 33 Mage after Awakening and was too proudful to go to setting Hard.

Anyways, there ya have it  =]

That's pretty much what I posted in another thread. Kiting and timing the switch makes this fight trivial, although you have to stay awake.

I used the switch just before phase 2 though, but I suppose it take a while to disappear in phase 2.

Anyway once you're in phase 2 with no skeletons, and everyone alive, you've pretty much won.

That is impressive - well done! So you kited with the bronto and still got melee attacks in with the golem and Jerrick - that must have been some very precise kiting.

It takes a while before Harvester changes targeting. Anyone not targeted is free to attack him.

But be aware that the ranged attack may target someone else.

Yeah but I would think if the Harvester is chasing the bronto, Jerrik and the golem could end up chasing the Harvester and not get many attacks.

They'll get some. But archery works much better.

And just to add to this tactic, you can make the rogue a ranger as well for 2 combat pets. That's right, you can have the Bronto AND a ranger pet.

I had 3 combat pets and 2 archers when I beat Harvester, and it was really very easy.

Lol, we all just surrounded the Harvester and pummeled it to death.

That tactic doesn't work with a non-imported character. They are simply not strong enough and you don't have enough potions to survive.

I am having serious problems with that abomination. Mabbe respec'ing Brogan is good.

I managed to destroy the harvester's body, but was in stage 2 and I was kiting 10-15 skellys around as my buds were trying to get them off me. I had a bad mmorpg flashback of kiting. It did generally end up with me dead....

I just beat this thing tonight for the achievement without using any advanced tactics, it did take me four tries though. :( (hardest difficulty)

That's why the advice in this thread and the stuff I posted in 2 other threads tells you to time the switch so you won't have skeletons in phase 2.

Oh, and I have a tough time believing you can beat this on the hardest difficulty with a non-imported character without using advanced tactics. Remember, this thread is not about your imported overpowered characters :)

This is possible but it is very tricky due to timing. I was healing with my main and golem with every type of heal and right when the Bronto cant take one more hit since the Harvester hits like a train you have to cast Force Shield. You will have time to heal him up while the duration lasts. Rinse and repeat 2 or 3 times and you will be into stage 2

This is why it really helps to run as small circles as possible that way the Harvester runs even smaller circles around Jerrik and golem

I am not sure how. I only had one respec tome otherwise I would have done that too for an even easier win. Also, Jerrik and Brogan only leveled to 21

Simple, I started out with a rogue and used the tome on Jerrik.

I still would like to know how the "surround and pummel" approach is ever going to work with a non-imported character. I tried this many times, and there was NO WAY I could heal through that.

Tanking is definitely possible but it only works if the character you create is a spirit healer as I did. I perfected that way as my initial strat. The game changer for me was changing Brogan to archer for better DPS and arrows that always landed as well as the switch timing

Thanks for this. It's one of the few achievements I have left to complete, had been dreading it.
