Well, "rock singers" is such a broad category. There are plenty of indie artists, and singers/bands who's music isn't so easily categorized. Click on the links people post, listen to the songs, and you'll get a better idea. That's the best part of this game - it gives you the opportunity to discover bands you haven't heard before and that you just might like.

(I quite enjoyed the Voltaire link, for example - and I'm only vaguely familiar with the band. Might have to look into it more.)

ROUND 1, PHASE 1 BUILD UP


In the first Phase of Battle of the Bands, each player on their turn can spend 4 points to heal a Band. There is no hurting in the first round. This will see that only Bands who prove popular to at least someone get points. Those 4 points can go all to 1 Band, spread out 1 each to 4 Band, or any range in-between. Each Band can only reach a max of 40 points before no more points can be added to them. Phase One will end when 12 Bands have reached 40 points.

Any Bands that fails to receive any points during this round will be automatically eliminated and will not move on to Phase 2.
