Bands come into this round with their totals from the previous round, all eliminated Bands remain eliminated.
Each player on their turn can spend 4 points hurting characters on the list. A player can spend all 4 on hurting one Band, 1 point each to hurt 4 separate Bands, or any range in-between. There is no healing in this round. This round will last until all but one band is eliminated

In the first Phase of Battle of the Bands, each player on their turn can spend 4 points to heal a Band. There is no hurting in the first round. This will see that only Bands who prove popular to at least someone get points. Those 4 points can go all to 1 Band, spread out 1 each to 4 Band, or any range in-between. Each Band can only reach a max of 40 points before no more points can be added to them. Phase One will end when 12 Bands have reached 40 points. Any Bands that failed to receive any points during this round will be automatically eliminated.
