Even Saren wouldn't be dumb enough to recruit Morinth. Pure Renegade in this game takes the cake.

I wouldn't count Morinth as Renegade. I see Renegades as people willing to sacrifice others in service of "the greater good". Morinth is just a serial killer with a reaallly fast acting STD.

Recruiting Morinth is saving one's ass as a Renegade.  Samara says as much; if she weren't bound in your service, she would not hesitate to kill you.  There is, literally, nothing stopping her from killing you once her duty is done.

And isn't it amusing how even Dexter was tweaked so that he wasn't full evil, he's an evil that kills other evils.

It's interesting, because it means modern fiction writers believe that no protagonist can exist without some modicum of goodness that makes them not an outright Satan. No one wants an outright Satan of a protagonist.

Was he tweaked? .. my only experience Dexter is the TV series, and he was always depicted as a "good" serial killer.

Even on my Renegade playthroughs, I don't choose Morinth, though.

Removing evil by evil isn't the same as removing evil by good, but I understand what you mean.

Being Renegade hopefully doesn't mean that you loose your mind and become dangerously chaotic. Your basically letting a serial killer that feeds off of weak people's minds and murders them --- on to your ship.

I wasn't implying he was full evil to begin with, just that they took the standard conception of a serial killer and tweaked it slightly to make it palatable to audiences.

This I can't agree with. I kill Morinth every time, but of the two, Morinth is the more interesting character.

But if Samara must die in order for her to live, down she goes. Plus I'll never be able to get past the Nef thing.

Not complete, no. In his own messed up way, he was trying to save the galaxy. A true Complete Monster wouldn't have gone to the lengths he did, or be redeemable at the end.

Not killling innocents except for hardocre renegade/uber jerk for me...though I would like more LoTSB style decisions-injure others for the greater good. (I felt kind of bad, but damnit you'd have to be idiotic to seriously deposit your heat sinks...tbh you should have just died if you did that)
