When are Bioware/EA gonna see sense and drop the inflated price for the PS3 version.
It really is stupid pricing from EA.

Ah, no, sorry, you still have to buy them individually. But the point still stands, you can buy Awakening on the Mac for £12 cheaper than its price on the PSN...

That's not really EA's fault. Blame Sony for it.GulfWarVet wrote...
PS3 in UK is Download only. EA have us by the short and curly's and refuse to let go.
I do think the price should be dropped, though. Awakening really isn't worth £32, and ignoring all "fairness" it's a ridiculous price when put in context with the other releases of it.

Now, I'd rather be official and go through XboxLive, but when I can get it for half the price elsewhere...

I was going to bring this up - someone in Bioware must be able to have a word in EA's ear. DA:A is 2400 microsoft points on XboxLive, (about £20) or you can get the physical disc for £10 on ebay. I know which one I'm going for...

There are several traders offering awakening for xbox360 (Brand new & Wrapped inc: Xbox seal) for £6.99 to 9.99 in the UK (on Ebay). I paid 2400msp and felt well and truly ripped off. At the time, I didnt even know you could get it on disk. Why would I? never seen BW dlc on disk before. Felt even worse, when i found this out!!!

Its only £17.99 ON pc, Still £12 cheaper!! WTF.
Still its £2 cheaper than just awakenings off the PSN.
For the sake of the Maker EA/Bioware drop the PSN price to reflect this new edition!!
I have all the DLC except awakenings, I'd sooner buy the ultimate edition on disc and still save £2 than buy of the store at the stupidly high release price STILL, after how long 3-4 months!!

Actually EA as the publisher set the price for PSN games not Sony.

If you pay the PSN price for Awakening you will not be happy. Im certain that the nearer to DA2 we get, the cheaper Awakening will get on PSN. If not, same applies to the ultimate edition mate. You could pick it up second hand for a tenner I rekon around december. And for that, even though you have all other dlc, awakening IS worth a tenner.

Unless the laws are different where you live, all EA can do is give a distributor a "suggested retail price"; it's up to the distributor to decide if they have to always charge that price, which is what appears to be happening.

Regardless of whoever set the price, I feel that blame must put at Sony's door first and foremost for putting EA and Bioware in this position...
That's not to say the latter parties don't deserve a good finger-wagging, but this whole situation does stem from Sony of Europe's ridiculous policy on expansion packs and DLC.

I dont know what it's like in the rest of europe, but here in the UK, and especially amongst all my family, friends and online gaming buddies, Xbox is the console of choice amongst the vast majority.

Its been confirmed by Sony via the EU blog that Sony do not set the price for DLC on the PSN only that it can be on disc or PSN.
They have even queried some content pricing before putting up on the store.

I too have heard that Sony have stated, that they have queried the rrp for certain dlc put up on their network. This was from one of the few friends I have who play ps3 though, so I cant comment on its accuracy unfortunately. I will however, post a source if I can obtain one.
