i am trying to use console to re-unlock the specializations since i reinstaled the game, but for some reason the console is not opening. (I'm using windows 7)

here wat i did:

1- i made a shortcut from my bin folder the daorigins.exe to the desktop
2- in the target field i added after the last quote space and -enabledeveloperconsole, and pressed apply
3-in the key bindings i changed the OpenConsole_0 part to openconsole_0 = u, and saved

conclusion: i run the game, i load the save and when i am in the game i press u, but nothing happens, at first i thought it was because its invisible the console, but when i try to press runscript, at the button s my char run back, showing that the console didn't activated, i tried again this time as administrator but still 0, so can someone tell me wat is wrong here?
