Witch Hunt version 1.1 is now available for the PC. This updated version contains the following changes:

• When importing from a post-game save, your conversation with Morrigan in the Witch Hunt module will properly reflect the choices you made in Dragon Age Origin's "Dark Ritual" plot.
• The game will automatically save after Witch Hunt's final cutscene.

This new version can be downloaded from your Entitlements page on the Dragon Age social site (http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php).

To install Witch Hunt version 1.1:

• Log in to your Entitlements page on the Dragon Age social site (http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php) using the same account you used to purchase Witch Hunt.
• Find Witch Hunt in the list of Titles and click the More Info link for your platform.
• Right click on the download link and select "Save Target As", or the equivalent in your browser. Save the .dazip file to your computer. If your browser tries to rename it to a .zip file, rename it back to .dazip
  after download.
• Find the daupdater.exe application. It is
  usually located under \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\bin_ship in your Dragon Age folder (for example
  C:\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Program Files\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\bin_ship\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\daupdater.exe). Double click on it to open it.
• Click on "Select DAZIPs". Navigate to where you have saved the .dazip file and open it.
• Now the .dazip file will appear on the Install tab. Select it on the list and click "Install Selected."
• Once the installation is complete, you can return to your Witch Hunt playthrough wherever you left off. Morrigan will now respond correctly to your choices in the Dark Ritual plot and a savegame file will automatically be created at the module's end.

We are also working on a stand-alone installer, which can be used to install the update from Windows without using the DAUpdater utility. We will let you know when this install method is available.

A new installer has been released to simply the patch process for the Witch Hunt DLC. The patch installer can be downloaded from http://social.biowar...page/da-patches

This file is a standalone installer for the PC version of the Witch Hunt update. To install the Witch Hunt patch, download the file to your desktop, or another folder on your computer which you can easily find. Locate the executable DAO_WitchHunt.exe and double click it to run. Follow the onscreen menu to install the patch.

A quick note for console players - things are progressing but we still have not heard back on a release date for X360 or PS3. As soon as we get that we'll let you know.

We're still waiting word from MS & Sony. Normally it does not take this long, however it is a busy period which is contributing to the delay. Hopefully we'll hear something early next week.

Sorry folks - this has been a much longer wait than we've ever had before, as it has been a particularly busy period for MS/Sony.

Today we've heard back from Sony Europe that the patch will go live for PS3 European players tomorrow 8AM GMT.

Still no update from Sony America or Microsoft for X360 - we're continuing to chase for an update for this, but believe that should be very soon.

Thanks for your patience - I realize it has been a long wait for console players in particular, and our apologies for that.

Will update you again as soon as we hear from Sony/MS.

Sony just confirmed they plan to release the patch to North America region PS3s later today.



Still chasing MS for the X360 title update - hoping still this week.
