We're still waiting word from MS & Sony. Normally it does not take this long, however it is a busy period which is contributing to the delay. Hopefully we'll hear something early next week.

It really sucks that it is taking this long, but that's just how it goes sometimes ... hopefully MS and Sony get it done soon...

I purchased Witch Hunt on Day 1, and I'm holding off on playing it .... Talk about an exercise in willpower

Hopefully next week? Well at least you cared enough to update us, I've been looking at the Official Witch Hunt Update and seeing nothing.

It's been what? A month now? No title update should take that long. Usually MS takes a week with a certification, but i guess with the previous F-up with the 1.04 update they're taking this slowly?

Release it - Communication
Roll-back - Communication
The aftermath - Nothing...

Many people don't know whether or not it's released, because many of their bug-fix notes isn't working.

Well, I think it hasn't been released. I've killed more than a thousand Darkspawn, and still haven't got the Master Warden achievement. Let's not talk about Blight Queller...only in my dreams

Can someone please help me?? I downloaded the Witchhunt.exe installer, but the installation aborts because I already have 1.04 installed and apparently the installer just quits at that point. Is there any way that I can still download the zip file so that I can manually patch witchhunt? (the game automatically installed the unpatched version when I started it up). I can only download the exe file from my game promotions page.

Okay I figured it out, you have to click on "more info" to find the zip file.

He he. Took me a while before I founf that out too. Never has updating and downloading content been more difficult for and game on any format for me before. Hopefully Bioware makes the process a little easier with DA2.

I'm on Windows 7 x86 with Witch Hunt 1.0 already installed and finished. Downloaded the executable file from http://na.llnet.biow...O_WitchHunt.exe and executed it. Worked fine! Didn't have any problems at all!

Corporate fatcats such as they tend to perform bad and use their reputation as an excuse to draw off those that might have the inkling to shut them down for it. I know Microsoft's fair share of screwing customers over for purchasing Dell products.

The DAOWitchhunt.exe didn't work for me because I already had patch 1.04 installed, and the installer aborted after there was an error message saying it couldn't install patch 1.04

They really need to certify the patch this week. Its been nearly a month and I still haven't experienced an un-bugged witch hunt ending and at this point I just want to wrap up my canon playthrough and be done with it.

I really want to get the UE, but do not want to pay 60 bucks only to have ultimately the most important DLC bugged, wish they would certify it and let everyone end it. Dont know why they wouldnt just pack the patch with the UE game.

Quick question abut the .exe . Does the .exe file include the whole thing or just the patch? so could i for example just download the .exe.

There has never been a "patch". That was a misnomer. It's a just a repack of the original that (presumably) includes some updated files. Both the EXE and the DAZIP are just shy of 1GB. You'd be better off just downloading the DAZIP and manually installing it.

Getting sick and tired of waiting for this god dang patch. Want to play an unbugged ending, even though the ending blows............don't even get to see what the "gift" is.
