Point of interest. Did you guys know that MS actually loses money on their XBox? The only reason that they're even in the gaming console business is to take away market share away from $ony and Nonetendo. This is done with the future hopes of weakening one or the other such that they might someday be assimilated by MS. They make enough profits from MS-Word alone to cover any losses they incur from their entire XBox division.

So . . . don't hold your breath waiting for a patch any time soon. They really couldn't give a fart about XBox players . . . this has always been the case.

Glad I came on and found out about these glitches/problems. I just beat WH like 15 min ago and Morri ending was screwed up and no Autosave. I thought it was just me and that Bioware wasn't planning on continuing the story from WH - DA2. But I see that definitely is not the case.

... That is the most idiotic comment I've ever seen. The ONLY developer that makes a profit on the console itself is Nintendo right now. Sony is selling at about half the manufacturing price and the way they get that revenue back is by allowing people to make games for their consoles, first party exclusives and accessories. They are making tons of money per console they've ever sold because no one buys a console and just uses it for DVDs. 

As an aside, Sony isn't even close to only having the Playstation brand as their backing and Nintendo is aiming at an entirely different market, and the overlap would go for the Wii any day, since it's cheaper. Microsoft would be immediately accused of monopolizing the second they attempted to buy out either one of those companies.

I have been sitting on this DLC since the day it was released. I don't want to play it until it is fixed.



Is the actual download itself fixed? I mean if I just delete the DLC and re-dwonload it, will it be the same jacked up DLC that I already have or will it be DLC that works like it should have in the first place? I play on XBOX.



But this is pissing me off to no end. If I wanted to wait a month and a half (or more it seems) to play Witch Hunt, I would have waited to buy it.

No, sorry the xbox updaate hsn't been accepted by MS yet. so redownloading it won't work.   I feel your pain, I'm a 360 user too.

Yes.  Yes you will.  But I actually prefer to go to the d/l page and save the ".dazip" directly.  Takes just as long, but that way I have a back-up copy for a re-install (if I ever need it) without having to re-download.

Many of us are 360 users on this forum. So many of us are upset. It isn't Bioware's fault that MS are being jerks. They are trying but MS won't co-opperate and thus we are getting the shaft.

Just to toss this out there, I think the reason it the update hasn't been released yet is because MS might be waiting to put it with the big Xbox Live update they are about to have.



But yeah.....to all the people bashing Microsoft over this....you can't bash MS without bashing Bioware for releasing it glitched. Hell, the game itself is pretty glitchy so I don't know what the big shock is. Instead of coming on here complaining every day, do something else productive with your day like......talk to a person of the opposite sex maybe. Then you can perform your own DR. =^P

You could be on to something, but that doesn't explain why all other games updates. My reason is that Microsoft knew they're going to F this up so they're using extra time so it wont happen again. Like 1.04 patch.

I'm going to luagh out load while holding a banana while im crying out of frustration if the game crash on the new 360 system after this patch.

I guess I'm one of the few that the Witch Hunt DLC actually works since Day 1.All the wardens I run through WH romanced her and did the DR. One was DAO with no post game play, to Awakening to WH. Another one was DAO with post game play, to Awakening, to WH. And my last Did DAO with no post game play, to Awakening, to Golems, to WH. She acknowledged that all 3 did the DR but I'm not sure they all had a save at the end.

Funny. I'd love to perform the DR with my gf, if she didn't live so far from me -___-
And as for the bashing...I've already bashed BW about this whole fiasco. And I don't want to continue bashing the guys, I don't win anything. Besides, they've finished the patch...but MS haven't released it, thus...we bash MS.
More than ridiculous, this situation is offensive.
