Because this took so long, I take it the update won't be on the extra DLC disc from Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition?
If it isn't as soon as you get online it will update.

Good news! We've heard from Microsoft that the Xbox 360 update for Witch Hunt will be available early tomorrow morning at 2AM Pacific time.
Thank you so much for your patience in this long wait.
Bout time.

How can you tell on the 360 if you have the patch for Witch Hunt?
If when you log onto Xbox Live you get a message saying that there is a required update and it asks you if you want to to download it or play offline without the patch.

I believe I got that patch yesterday, I just wanted to make double sure on it before I start playing it. I'm a worry-wort in that aspect.

I didn't have to restart mine for it to work.godlike13 wrote...
For 360 do i have to replay the DLC from the start, or can i just load a previous save right before i talk to Morrigan.

I waited to download it altogether until today when I heard it had been updated.
I imported my save game (that i had played through awakenings/golems/etc, and had performed the ritual w/ morrigan myself), and when I get to the second dialog with the dog (at the beginning of witch hunt) i only see these options:
1. We'll find Morrigan, I promise.
2. Don't worry, We'll find Morrigan, and make her pay.
3. Let's go.
It's my understanding that I should be getting these options:
1. We'll find Morrigan, I promise.
2. Don't worry, We'll find Morrigan, and make her pay.
3. You'll help me get the child back, won't you?
3. Let's go.
So it seems to me that this is still not importing my save correctly. This is very frustrating considering how long I've had to wait.
EDIT:
Nevermind, just remembered that the save I was using hadn't performed the ritual. *facepalm*
Sorry guys!

It is a re-purposing (and re-painting) of the location code used for the fight with "The Mother".

Yea so...I just got the update, and my opening dialog still doesn't let me ask about the child - but then again, I'm a female character. So can someone confirm that I'm supposed to get that dialog, before I start demanding my refund again?

So... did you have one of the other Wardens do the DR? If not,BubbleDncr wrote...

a) Your DA:O Epilogue Slides will not have mentioned anyone seeing "...someone of Morrigan's description heading over the mountains... who appeared to be with child",
And if you DID have Big Al or "The Other One" stand to stud, (I always would have preferred Riordan as an option here) the opening scene of WH may not have a reference to the child simply because it would not have been your child.
But I can't say for certain because I've only played WH with a Warden you did complete the DR. Heading through DA:A now with a new one who rejected it, so we'll see what happens when we get to WH this time...

It was with my female character who had alistair do the DR, my epilogue slide did say she was seen with child.
when i started a new WH file after the patch, there was no mention of the child in my opening dialog. But I opened the auto-save from the first time I played WH from right before talking to Morrigan, and she did address the child, it all worked fine and dandy. So I guess that means you can only mention the child to the dog if its actually your child.

What is the size of DLC to download
And v1.1 is approx. the same as the original, since it's a full replacement for, not a patch of, v1.0.

The game did an auto save just before the credits rolled.......but when I reload the save....it went right to the credits. What are the new items you get?
The same thing happened to me. I love the game but the DLC's were a bit disappointing.

All is working "as intended". The auto- save made right before the credits is just to store the end-state so that there's a record from which to import the relevant plot flags into DA2 (and, perhaps, later.)kutulu3 wrote...

If you load that save, you can watch the credits again.
The WH bonus items are named "Witchcraft" on your "Installed Content" screen. They consist of the "Vestements of the Seeker", (Mage's Robe) and the "Sash of Forbidden Secrets" (Belt), "Dragonbone Cleaver" (Greataxe), and "Sorrows of Arlathan" (Longbow). All are pretty awesome... when you re-start DA:O and they appear in your inventory (along with your "Blood Dragon Armour" and any other bonus items you're entitled to have.)
