 inside the game i have the option to download the Witch Hunt

but that Witch Hunt DLC.. is the normal version or the full udpate 1.1 version?

im a little confused.. there is no info about that

a) I believe that the in-game button on the "Available Content" screen is linked to v1.1 (no reason for it not to be.)

It doesn't really matter, since you can go to your "Player Entitlement" page and download the "Stand-Alone" version directly. (It's the same one, only it has a seperate installation routine built-in.)

Mang, I replayed the whole campaign doing the dlc (Wardens keep, return to ostgar, a few others lol)

And then I import my character all hyped up for a excellent DLC (witch hunt)

... took me 1 hour and all I did was walk into a mirror ?

Wheres the closure?

Is post-coronation the same as post-game or whatever?

I guess my question would be... can I go to the world map, unequip my party members, transfer to awakening, transfer to golem, and then transfer to witch hunt without the game being all wonky on me?

Dragonage.Wikia seems to warn against this and says just use the auto-save, or something... I'm so confused.

HELP!!

I bought the ultimate edition and am currently on my 1st playthrough. I managed to get all the DLC fine but when it comes to witch hunt patch 1.1 it doesn't appear on my entitlements page. I only get dragon age 2 stuff (and I don't even have that game). I've registered my game and all. I've got patch 1.05 for everything but can't seem to access WH#1.1 Does anyone know why I cant find this patch? I checked my version am I'm on 1.0

Oh nvm, I have the ultimate edition and just found out that it comes with the updated patch for witch hunt.

Witch Hunt version 1.1 is now available for the PC. This updated version contains the following changes:
 

• When importing from a post-game save, your conversation with Morrigan in the Witch Hunt module will properly reflect the choices you made in Dragon Age Origin's "Dark Ritual" plot.
• The game will automatically save after Witch Hunt's final cutscene.

This new version can be downloaded from your Entitlements page on the Dragon Age social site (http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php).

To install Witch Hunt version 1.1:

• Log in to your Entitlements page on the Dragon Age social site (http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php) using the same account you used to purchase Witch Hunt.
• Find Witch Hunt in the list of Titles and click the More Info link for your platform.
• Right click on the download link and select "Save Target As", or the equivalent in your browser. Save the .dazip file to your computer. If your browser tries to rename it to a .zip file, rename it back to .dazip
  after download.
• Find the daupdater.exe application. It is
  usually located under \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\bin_ship in your Dragon Age folder (for example
  C:\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Program Files\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\bin_ship\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\daupdater.exe). Double click on it to open it.
• Click on "Select DAZIPs". Navigate to where you have saved the .dazip file and open it.
• Now the .dazip file will appear on the Install tab. Select it on the list and click "Install Selected."
• Once the installation is complete, you can return to your Witch Hunt playthrough wherever you left off. Morrigan will now respond correctly to your choices in the Dark Ritual plot and a savegame file will automatically be created at the module's end.

We are also working on a stand-alone installer, which can be used to install the update from Windows without using the DAUpdater utility. We will let you know when this install method is available.

UPDATE: 9/27/2010
A new installer has been released to simply the patch process for the Witch Hunt DLC. The patch installer can be downloaded from http://social.biowar...page/da-patches

This file is a standalone installer for the PC version of the Witch Hunt update. To install the Witch Hunt patch, download the file to your desktop, or another folder on your computer which you can easily find. Locate the executable DAO_WitchHunt.exe and double click it to run. Follow the onscreen menu to install the patch.
