On my Sentenial runthrough, I had Miranda and Thane with me on the Collector Ship. All three of us had Warp. I had throw, so did Thane. It was basically, Throw, then, Warp. One right after the other.

Splat! Splat! Splat! Or, three Warps on a Collector. That was one big BOOM! It was fun!

Why does it have to be their own warp? That's what you have team mates for. I already linked to a vid showing a vanguard using his squad to warp on slam on a regular basis. It's not that hard.

Because, as I've stated for 3 times now, my squadmates are not reliable. I've had a couple missions playing as soldier this run on insanity where neither Miranda nor Jacob cast for more than 3 seconds after i ordered the power use.

I've never had a problem with
setting up warp bombs using Slam. Unless Thane or Miranda happen to be
reloading or jumping over something the instant I need them.

Yep, this, or they're busy firing. Or, like on my grunt recruitment a few minutes ago, miri was busy sky walking over everything when I gave her a position waypoint that was 20 feet in front of her with no obstacles in sight. But she found a way to end up 6 feet above the cover getting pummeled by RL's.

I'm not saying don't use slam. If you've found a way for it to be effective, great. But that's not always the case for me. The only warp explosions I can count on are the ones I initiate. The rest are happy surprises when Jacob actually casts first and miri second or I'm macromanaging with the pause key.

I know you've said it 3 times, but I have a hard time processing it when 9/10 I have no issues whatsoever getting my squadmates cast powers. I make ample use of squad powers in practically every video I've ever made, and see them in action in most of the videos I watch. Going where I point them to has been an issue at times, but generally, if I hit any of the hotkeys the squadmate is going to hit that power. I haven't found them to be any where near as unreliable as you have. I know occasionally, they're busy doing something else, but you make it sound as if they never do anything when you hit a hot key.

[edited cause I'm ridiculous some times]

Well, maybe it's my last two renegades that the squad doesn't like. I don't hot key, though, I pause|aim|click for my squadies :(

Guess I should give the hot-keys a try and see it that's the trouble.

I have found that slam is somewhat useless. Sure it looks cool but you're better off with pull/throw combos. Also, throw recharges way quicker. I don't even put points into slam for Miranda anymore.

On Insanity(especially using a Biotic <3) its incredibly easy to **** up every enemy using pull/throw combos. It makes boss fights like the Tela fight in the Shadow Broker DLC a pushover. You just whittle her down ot health and chuck her off of the building. Lol automatic win.

? Slam works the same way as pull, albeit with shorter "air time". Moreover with slam the target doesn't float towards you, making it easier to throw them into the nearest abyss.

I have very few issues using squad powers from pause or from Q/E on target. They use the ability the instant I tell them to, like 95% of the time.

Which is good, because my life often depends on it.

I had a problem with a squadmate. Perfect example is, Jacob. When I was doing the Garrus Recuitment. I had to go to the garage/basement. The one section you have to vault over those sections. For some odd reason, I kept hitting the "Q" to move Jacob to the end of the hallway so I could use him as bait for the Pyro Vorcha. He wouldn't move. Then I hit "C" and nothing. Finally I finished it myself. On my way back, he was stuck at a wall. Not in the wall, but it looked like he was Super-Glued to it. Never moved. Then, when I went to the other part, he was right there.

It seems like every day I read about a super easy solution to something that some how slips my mind and makes me feel like  a big damned idiot. How the hell did I not realize I was fighting on a rooftop and put two and two together as far as pull/throw to finisher her off?

If you throw her off the building sometimes she doesn't die.  Instead she is stuck out in dark space the edge of the map and you can't kill her.  You have to reload.

Ouch, like sinosleep said, I was thinking I was dumb for not doing that myself, but if this bug happens on enough frequency, I'm not sure its worth exploiting vs just finishing in the less efficient but bug free method.

the hard part against vasir isn't when she's down to health anyway, its the epic barrier. there are heaps of ways to kill her once she's down to health. my personal favourite so far has been: cryo blast, punch, punch, punch, cryo blast, punch, punch, punch, cryo blast, punch, punch, punch, cryo blast, punch, punch, shatter.

I like to non stop warp bomb Vasir to death. Playing Adept and using squady with Pull (Samara, plus Liara's Warp) will allow successive warp detonations. Shep Pulls, Liara Warps - Samara Pulls, Shep Warps; Boom, boom, boom - took about 12 warp explosions to kill her, some though lady ;)

Don't they have the same cooldown?

That has an epicness level of over 9000. :P

You can also knock her off the building with a vanguard's charge. It happened accidentaly when I first played the DLC. Really funny to bully her around with charge + cryo shotgun.
