Yeah I had a heater and a blanket for the first part then we blew a fuse tying to use a blow dryer to dry the plaster faster... so I was shivering for the last part.. all for love of the art!

What step is this?  Have any plans for the outfit itself?

This is the first step... Me and "team Samara" are going to start meeting mid December for the outfit ideas! :happy:

You are a brave soul..I would have been yelling obscenities by the end of that.  I hate the cold...then again I sometimes go running while the temperature is in the 40's wearing only shorts and a tank top so it is a love/hate relationship I guess.  Still..you are very brave.

Looks very professional, and kudos for braving discomfort for this. When can we exactly see the end-result? It does seem to be taking a while to materialise.

We're aming to finish by comic con next year ! It's going to take a bit to get it all together...

I really wish you'd upload photos to photobucket or something. I'm currently avoiding Facebook like the plague due to all the issues it has and don't have an account, which means I can't view images of the cosplay I donated to.

It makes me sad...

Cool, thanks a lot. I've always thought that I'd feel really claustrophobic if I had to go through a makeup process like that. Kudos to you for putting yourself on the line like that, I probably couldn't do it.

I just hope the kids you show your costume to have played the game. I think it would really add to the experience if they knew the reference.
