Can we possibly get some of the softer sides of women in the game too?

I don't know about you but when I showed up as 'consort' queen of Ferelden in Awakening, and there was no wedding ring on my finger! i was slightly ticked  Zeveran gives one to the one he loves?! :crying: And whats with not being able to buy normal clothes,,,,yes dresses I'm talking about dresses. And I get the whole not showing the wedding thing, but if you really think about it Alistair would never have married you if you had not bullied (pursuaded) him in to it.

SO

In DRAGON AGE II rise to power~ I do hope that there is some of the little touches that are put in place for the more feminine gamers, I know that girls in gaming have really grown over the years (Yeah!) and I really dont think any one would really mind if we had a LI that maybe put you before say....producing offspring, running a country...or something like that. There is going to be a ten year span after all.
Gosh I get all built up while I'm playing, but I now can not remember all the small things that could make it slightly, and really only slightly geared towards the FEMME fatale.
And may I add in that a LI that was lightly but NOT overly possessive would be cute.

I don't know am I the only one that feels this way?

You can get clothes and noble clothes as drops in DA:O, but I don't think you could buy any, so you are right on that I think.

You could have just run away with Alistair, who at least gives a flower (only one who doesn't give a gift is Leliana), and just have Anora run the country.

As for the rest. Okay.

actually you get this if you play the city elf - a wedding dress and you even get a ring from your betrothed. they aren't really there to do anything other than take up space though.

You should feel lucky Alistair showed up for you at all! Those of us who chose not to make him king didn't even get a freakin' letter.

I don't think you know what femme fatale means.

Well, dresses and weddings and such things bore me no small amount, I must say. Still, it would be quite easy to avoid, so I wouldn't mind if it were there. Personally, I would rather have cool and realistic armour.

I'm sure you're not the only person who wants those things, though. There are a lot of people out there.

By the by, the ring Zevran can give your character is actually an earring and can't be worn (and it would be pretty odd to wear an earring on your finger anyhow, though probably possible). So, I believe the only wearable thing of that sort you could have would be if your character is a female city elf.

This isn't really a dress up game or wedding sim, though...

You can get a ring from your beloved, but only if she is Morrigan and you're male. Fun times.

The game could have a couple of diffrent non-war outfits.

Just make these outfits with penalty to dex and no extra stats.

This sounds like Fable II's dress up options. My adventurer always wore the "hot date" clothes, and the "highwayman" mask and hat. She was a saucy tart but totally shot people in the face on principle.

Wow. I don't know what game you were playing, but IMO both Morrigan (with her love for jewelery) and Leliana (her shoe fetish...nuff said) were totally girlie girl. Stereotypically so.

On the other hand it might be nice to see some more feminine/sexy armor styles. I know we all would like a greater variety of armor :)

Much appreciated but I should stress the following: please do not zap me and turn me into a toad.

It would be nice to have some clothing that's a bit more feminine in DA2. In DAO, I could understand always being in your armor because you're in camp or travelling through dangerous places and you needed to be ready to fight in case someone or something suddenly attacked. In DA2, you'll have a home, you'll be in a larger, probably more modernized city... It would be nice to wear something that you feel you can lounge about in while in your own home.

I hate to sound like a negative nelly such as I normally do, but what you're describing is the stereotype that I think you're trying to rally against.

Maybe they'll do it ME2 style, while in your Normandy Castle/burg/inn/whatever you can parade in casual wear...But I want a steel blade at my side even if butt naked!

jesus take the wheel no.

For the time spent doing that I would rather the devs make me a cool sword, or an encounter [Like Beyha Joam, I liked that guy. In a "its fun killing you" way.]

Besides, I am not too demanding on the NPC's. They don't get to hold any money [Alistair had to go "pretty please, can I have" when you met Goldanna] and you give them presents you find in piles of dragon poop. They risk their lives for me on a daily basis. Thats a true sign of NPC love. Gotta love those meat shields.

Traditionally feminine/sexy attire is hardly appropriate for the battlefield.

Like omg! It totally would be nice to see better female armor like some of the NPC's. I had to mod the game just to get theirs.  Posted Image
