When I Post Trees to Local the toolset creates the folder for trees but it is empty. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? (I have activepython 2.5.5.7 32-bit already installed).

I've never tried to post trees alone. I render lightmaps, render light probes, post minimap then Do All Local Posts.

I have done that as well (with the exception of posting the minimap), but the results are the same. Everything seems to get posted except for the trees... :pinched:

I've seen this problem once, but I'm not certain why it happened.

At risk of spreading urban myths... when I post to local, I have the "SpeedTree Rendering Distance Selector" set to "Very Far" and do absolutely nothing else on my computer while it's running.

I got the trees to post by loading a module other than the Single Player module before posting. (I had loaded the SinglePlayer module in order to render the light probes correctly).

I've had this issue before and have been able to sort it the same way you did untill today. I've tried to export trees to local via the Single Player and my own Module both without succes, or rather:

I: 17:27:51 - Initializing Resource Builder...
I: 17:27:51 - Processing and posting trees locally...
I: 17:27:51 - Starting local post for trees...
I: 17:27:51 - Shared Addin resources will be exported to "D:\\Docs\\Profiles\\Ael\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\addins\\frozen01\\core\\override\\toolsetexport\\".
I: 17:27:51 - Campaign resources will be exported to "D:\\Docs\\Profiles\\Ael\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\addins\\frozen01\\module\\override\\toolsetexport\\".
I: 17:27:51 - Shared resources will be exported to "D:\\Docs\\Profiles\\Ael\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\\toolsetexport\\".
S: 17:27:51 - Starting export: "Post Trees to Local"

Succes, as it says, but during the export it does not run the render bit where it rotates the models, it does not generate the files inside the 'trees' folder. I've tried full export, i've tried a seperate local post of trees, I've removed the erf,  erf.bak and lvl.bak files and tried again. No go under both modules.
Removed all folders under USER\\documents\\bioware\\dragon age\\toolset\\resourcepostintermediatewin32\\ that had my level name and both folders under the override folders of both the single player and my own module. No go.

Created a new exportable area with a new name, imported my atmosphere, made a new startpoint for it, rendering lightmaps, lightprobes and pathfinding for the new area then tried to do a full export, no luck.
Ran the SpeedTreeCAD export under Tools - Tests, got the message:

W: 19:31:03 - Failed to copy output files.

Went to look for the output folder; \\USER\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\SpeedTreePackage\\Output
Deleted everything in the SpeedTreePackage folder, ran the test again. Same error.
Checked the temp folder and all files had been regenerated in there, so I assume it can't copy/write the files into the destination folder from temp.
Checked Owner for the 'trees' folder, it was set to Administrators, started Toolset with "Run as Administrator" and tried the "post trees to local" again and tried running the test, same error same deal.

Manually copied files from the USER\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\SpeedTreePackage\\Output folder to the module 'trees' folder, no problem doing that. Exported the level again to see wether when I load the level in the area-editor trees will be visible.. I can.
Exported ingame it all looks normal.

What effectively worked was (quick sumup):
- run the SpeedTreeCAD export under Tools - Tests
- go to USER\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\SpeedTreePackage\\Output and copy all files in that folder to your 'trees' folder under USER\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\AddIns\\YOURMODULENAME\\core\\override\\toolsetexport\\trees
- Export level under the SinglePlayer module in the toolset (watermeshes and all that)
- Copy all (except 'trees') from USER\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\\toolsetexport\\YOURLVLTAG to USER\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\AddIns\\YOURMODULENAME\\core\\override\\toolsetexport\\
- Proceed with area load and export as normal

So yeah, I guess this is another work-around, not a fix though.
For whoever runs into my problem, I hope the above helps you.

If anyone knows the actual FIX for this issue, please share it =)

Not sure if it could help, just an idea.
Have you started the toolset as administrator?
If not, try it again. If yes, sorry, can't help you there.
