I say things like "mostly paragon" or "mostly renegade", but really I just play depending on what I think makes the most sense.

Do you save the Collector Base then? Oh Wait - the worms have escaped, help me catch them all and put them back in the can!

When will you get that some of us simply dont care about whether something is Paragon or Renegade?

If you don't care, what are you doing in a morality thread?

Probably the same reason that I'm on one; because it's 'my' morality.

Oh dear. What have you done.

Well... that's probably one of the few decisions where what makes the "most sense" becomes super vague. I usually do save it because I think the compromise of having an epic douche in charge of the technology is small enough if it means he'll help use it against the reapers, providing it does actually end up having against the reapers. I can see totally valid reasons as to why someone would destroy it, though.

Now, let us never speak of this again.

I am looking forward to her repeat performance in ME3, where she fakes spraining her ankle and steals the Normandy once you bring her on board.

If she did something that bad ass, I'd have to have a playthrough were I specifically have to will myself not to pull the trigger so she could do that.

Seriously this can all be avoided when you kill her when she points the gun at you.

I mean.

...

I know you have proper shielding but why wait? At that distance that gun she had could do serious damage.

If you take the Renegade interrupt, you learn that it does nothing.

Yes but you dont know that at the time.

At the time we still have to treat her as a deadly threat.

Sure, if she holds down the trigger for 30 seconds and you and your squad stand there like lumps.

You are well trained and armed to the teeth. In that situation it "should" be more of a reflex thing than anything.

The actual interrupt is severely overblown. It should be a quick shot out of necessity.

Anyone who roleplays should. How does Shepard know she doesnt have a grenade? Or explosive rounds (metagaming, we know she has access to these) loaded into that smg?

That's what I honestly hate about that Renegade interrupt, if only because that wasn't my thought process. My final decision was purely influenced when she attempted to quick-draw me. I didn't go in there with the express intent of murdering her. I wanted intel. If she gave it to me willingly I might tie her up or something but I would essentially do my whole Shiala 'gentleman's agreement' with her.

Agreed. It is especially anoying since the Renegade interrupt on Thanes loyalty mission made me think it would be an instant action made according to the circumstance.

This has to be the worst interrupt in the game since it isnt an action but a choice.

Metagame knowledge of interrupts is, I must say, a very useful thing.

And... if you do the Renegade option... what does she do then? Does she yell " Ahhhh --- help me!" and put her hands? Nope --- she says You bastards...and something about going to hell. Well... in comes the real woman does it not? That whole Mother Theresa presumption flies out the window...not to mention the fact that her eyes gleefully dart to her weapon when you do enter the room.

In that situation, the luxury is gone concerning the who and the what --- could have been a ruse, she could have been behaving like an injured kitten when really she's a black widow. That is the point of choice! --- just so happens it doesn't seem so bad cocerning Shepard...but what about later? In ME3 for instance, she may become a worse Merc that she was now...thats the beauty of not knowing!

Cut buds where they may so the problem doesn't turn into the man-eating plant in the corner later.

Different view points --- I respect someone who believes she may have been some lost angel amongst the brutal forces of Merc politics... I on the other hand view her as a snake in the grass that pulls a good act when preservation came.

At that point, Shepard has made it clear that he/she is going to kill her, so it more a matter of having nothing left to lose and displaying one last act of defiance.  She's obviously afraid of Shepard regardless of what option you choose, and fearfully glances to her gun at first, then decides against it.  If she was a threat, she would have taken the shot before you even knew she was there, or when you're back was turned.  Is she a bad person for being with the Eclipse?  Does killing the volus make her a murderer?  It's all in how you look at it.  But regardless, she is not a threat, nor could she be without any support.  And when you do find the evidence and turn it over to the detective, she'll probably be arrested and put in prison, making her a non-threat to the very end.

Yes . That make her a murderer . If you kill a pimp or a drug dealer in the street you're a murderer. We're not in the far west anymore! In my first playthrough i let her live .After i just kill her because the way she talk about that volus just disgusted me plus i always want some renegade :P .Bur normaly i would not..

Plus someone claimed that she was hesitant taking her gun . Well than you're metagaming also .Unless Shepard can see through wall . It's was a cinematic cutscene but normaly Shepard would not know that she was hesitating with her gun behind that 10 meter wall.

What i do know though .. If you're a cop and you point at someone armed with a gun .. Would would do do?

Cop - Drop you gun
Thug  -  raise his gun
Cop Shoot

The end

She picked her gun and pointed it at me  . i take no chance with hesitant armed merc.

Shepard isn't a cop, she's an invincible supersoldier.
