Why does everyone automatically believe Pitne For is telling the truth when he says that all Eclipse sisters commit murder to join?  It isn't like he's the most reliable source, considering he definitely wants you to kill all of the Eclipse so they don't catch him.

I usually bring this up in the other Elnora threads that crop up but then people get all mad at me and stuff.

Metagame wise, it is harder to accept getting played by Elnora as opposed to getting played by Pitne For because Elnora escapes and you have the reasonable belief that Pitne For is headed to jail once you hand over the cargo manifests to Illium Security.

Yep.  your reliable source is also a criminal using Shepard as a tool to help secure his double cross.

His information just so happens to be correct, but he really does want you to wipe out the mercs so there will be no reprisals against him by Eclipse.  If Shep succeeds, he gets to keep Eclipse's credits and could possibly escape with any Red Sand and Minagen X3 left unconfiscated by Iilium Security.

As I said before, the saving grace is that Pitne will be caught.... unless you went Renegade and accepted his bribe..

I'd be interested to see if the folks that took the Renegade interrupt and gunned down Elnora also took the Renegade ponts and accepted Pitne For's blood money.

I mean, hey, if you are going to be Renegade, be a consistant Renegade.

Okay, I read it. Elnora didn't shoot at you, which kind of scuppers everything else. So even for your Shepard this would be out of character.
