You shouldn't have any issues with either game and yes the DLCs are profile linked I.E the BioWare profile your using here on the forums is linked to your downloadable DLCs so you can install the game on another PC an redownload the DLCs again, now I'm not totally sure about Me1 I know it had a DRM but not sure what type, pretty sure it was just an internet activation DRM not a (you have 5 total installs) DRM.

Mass Effect 1 has a limited number of installs. Five I think. If you have the latest patch uninstalling the game gives you back one activation. Mass Effect 2 only has the disc check so don't worry about that.

As Fredvdp says, ME1 has lifetime limits on activation (though if you run out EA should be able to give you an extra activation when you contact them). If you want to be sure you get yours back, google for EA Deauthorization Tool.

Some Direct Download versions of ME2 have on-line activation, but there is no lifetime limit, just a 24-hour one that you should be long past, so nothing to worry about there.
