So we know that Asari are identical to human females, do you think it's possible that a child of a human and an Asari could very well be an Asari male??:wizard:

No.

I know I'm being trolled, but the asari on Illium who lost her male human bondmate's locket mentions that their child is her "daughter".

Asari children are always asari.  Asari don't have "males", as species with binary sexes know them.

A child of an asari and a human is just another asari.

Nope. It doesn't matter what race the Asari's partner is, Asari children are all female. Every last one of them. No exceptions.

The Original Poster is clearly one of those people who doesn't "get" it.

Asari dont have males, they have one gender, they aren't identical to females, they aren't female.  You missed the part of the game where you learn asari are asexual.

Did you read the codex? Asari are a all female race and they have all the female p[arts that ah uman female would have.

*smash's keyboard and throws computer across the room*

Look up the term asexual and how they reproduce and tell me Asari are asexual.

Yes they are. They are monogendered which means they have one gender.  And that gender is female.:wizard:

You're both correct.

Liara states that they are monogendered, but the codex says all-female.

Liara her self even says that and the codex even says they are a all female race, put that with the female parts they have, plus they need a partner to reproduce, thus they are not asexual.

Asari are females. /discusion

The OP is saying that the sex of the person with whom the asari is mating is of consequence to the sex of the child.  As you state yourself, there are no male or female asari, since they biologically lack that distinction.

Quite frankly, I think someone putting their foot in their mouth to explain why asari aren't technically female, and why FemShep +  Liara isn't technically lesbianism, is an inadequate justification.

No, kraidy is correct, they are monogendered. mono means one, not none. That one gender/sex is female.

Yep.  They've made it pretty clear that there are no Asari males.  Even Asari fathers are female.  It's basically like adding different spices to the same food.  It might be taste a little different, but it's still the same thing overall.  Asari have different skin tones and might take on a few personality traits of the father, but every child born of an Asari is and Asari female.
