Asari reproduce monoly. They only need a nerveous sistem to activate themselves.

THEY DON'T EVEN NEED TO ATTACH TO THEY'RE PARTNER!!!

People in the forums are sometimes dumb as hell. Some guy said that Asari are fully female.

Asari aren't female, they are monogendered. Liara says so in ME1.

Dumb people are dumb.

Mono = single
Gender = sex

Mono-gendered = single sexed
Female = A member of the sex that produces ova or bears young.

Asari are female. It's the only gender they have.

Yep.  They've made it pretty clear that there are no Asari males.  Even Asari fathers are female.  It's basically like adding different spices to the same food.  It might be taste a little different, but it's still the same thing overall.  Asari have different skin tones and might take on a few personality traits of the father, but every child born of an Asari is and Asari female.

Nope, that's the result of parenting.

If you believe that everything is always nurture over nature.  When asari mate, they attune their nervous system to their partner's, so it's hard to believe that something of the father doesn't slip through.

Your nervous system is not how you pass on your genes, the Asari just use it to start their own reproductive cycle. In ME2 we hear from the Asari bartender that "they" say that whole passing on traits stuff is a bunch of junk and although she says she doubts that its just her opinion. Its clear this belief is simply the result of an old wives tale. I'm assuming "they" are scientists and doctors. The Asari gets traits from the Asari mother since its her genes that are actually being passed on, everything else is simply the parent rubbing off through exposure.

You guys are all wrong. Asari are all male. They have huge penis's in their spandex pants, but they have nice boobies too. I'd still hit it.

Being clear doesn't necesairly mean being right. I've asked Legion and he told me "there was a hole". Ill stick by the feamle theory.

They never really show us what's down there, it might be a hand for all we know.
And for the funny bumps i think they represent the extend of their biotic potential, that would explain Samar's... :wub:hrm yea

Wait, doesn't Liara say that the daughters keep the genetic memory of the father species?

I love when someone idiotically tries to come up with some crap like this. Either you can't read, are trolling, or an idiot.

Asari are MONOgendered..Liara herself says this.

They are ALL what humans call "female"...they have all the parts that straight human men like on human females.

Asari hence do not distinguish themselves as female, because female/male do not exist..they are simply Asari.

Even though Asari LOOK female they do not require an opposing gender to reproduce, which is good since THEY HAVE NONE. there's real animals/things on this planet that are similar..look them up if you think it's too far-fetched.

all that being said....the ONLY comparison to male/female roles Asari has is ONE of them actually CARRIES the baby..this is IRRELEVANT to each individual Asari as EITHER ONE COULD BE THE CARRIER.

So no you're idiotic claim that a human/asari coupling could possibly produce what Asari consider male is totally false, idiotic, and lacks any kind of forethought save knowing it's good troll material. Because ALL Asari can be the carrier or not of the offspring they produce with their "mate"..which is also why physical contact isn't necessary (as, again, Liara TELLS YOU)...because there is no TRUE father/mother role save which one decides to carry the child in their womb

This

The Asari can only be Asari, and in a complicated process, use the genetics of the father to spin tail the genetics of the child.  The ONLY reason they will mate with others that aren't their species is to get some random genetics, that are passed from "father" to child.  This is more popular in the second ME, especially with examples like Morinth coming from a straight Asari genetic memory.

Gender designation requires a paired gender. In science, male or female is determined by which of the pair has the motile germ cell, not appearance.

Read the post immediately above yours. They appear (human)female, but they are not actually female.
