and I myself have had to edit for one thing
I am the very model of a scientist Salarian!
I've studied species, Turian, Asari, and Batarian.
I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology),
because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).
My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian -

So using your logic that if it has a hole it is female. then what you are saying is everything is female. thats good to know that even if you have penus(dick **** ect) you are female. just using your logic here.
male = female because it has a hole
female = female because it has a hole
anything with a hole = female because it has a hole.

I love when someone idiotically tries to come up with some crap like this. Either you can't read, are trolling, or an idiot.

Asari are MONOgendered..Liara herself says this.
They are ALL what humans call "female"...they have all the parts that straight human men like on human females.
Asari hence do not distinguish themselves as female, because female/male do not exist..they are simply Asari.
Even though Asari LOOK female they do not require an opposing gender to reproduce, which is good since THEY HAVE NONE. there's real animals/things on this planet that are similar..look them up if you think it's too far-fetched.

all that being said....the ONLY comparison to male/female roles Asari has is ONE of them actually CARRIES the baby..this is IRRELEVANT to each individual Asari as EITHER ONE COULD BE THE CARRIER.

So no you're idiotic claim that a human/asari coupling could possibly produce what Asari consider male is totally false, idiotic, and lacks any kind of forethought save knowing it's good troll material. Because ALL Asari can be the carrier or not of the offspring they produce with their "mate"..which is also why physical contact isn't necessary (as, again, Liara TELLS YOU)...because there is no TRUE father/mother role save which one decides to carry the child in their womb
Yes!!! Thank you.. someone who knows something. And for you who want to know an animal that is alive in this world that you could compare to the asari.
We call them worms. Earth Worms.
Thats just one example of an animal that the asari are like when it comes to what sex they are.

Asari are sexually what we call female. But when it comes to gender, they have only one (monogendered), and no, that gender is not woman (because female isn't gender, it's sex).
To be honest, I thought this was going to be a discussion on a scientific experiement in which the DNA of an asari was combined with a human ovum and what that would turn out to be.
Oh well.

then again maybe you should just look up animals that have no gender/sex. That would give you a better idea of what or how the asari biology works to a point.
Oh and to clarify Earth worms are hermaphordites. They have both sex/genders.One end is male the other end is female. They mate with other earth worms and intwine together oppisit ends. So that was a bad example. However there are worms that are sexless/genderless.
Oh and just so you know there are human hermaphordites but most are surgualy changed to the dominating sex at birth.

Im talking about people who are naturaly female looking. The proper term is called andrognous.
Also you can have it with a woman who looks male.
here is a list of people who are famous that are andrognous in the way they look.
B. Scott-from the B.Scott Show.American TV presonality and raido host and best known for youtub show called lovebscott.
David Bowie-singer
Andrej Pejic-Supermodel
Annie Lennox-Eurythmics singer (early years)
K.D Lang-singer
Tida Swinton-British actress
Amelie Mauresmo-French Former Pro. Tennis Player
That is only a few. Some are female some are male. see if you can tel just by looking at them. Anyways something to think about. Just because it looks female doesn't make it so.

Sounds like something the Salarians might do. Actually if you think about it, with all the religious aspects of Asari culture throwing a Male in there might be a pretty distabilising weapon.

Or Ardat-Yakshi, which are also Asari.
Their superficial resemblance to mammals is coincidental.

This is how asari reproduction works...Sheepie Crusher wrote...
So we know that Asari are identical to human females, do you think it's possible that a child of a human and an Asari could very well be an Asari male??
The asari basically clone themselves, except they randomize the other chromizome based on the nervous system of the species they mate with. The asari don't pass on many physical traits at all of thier mate, only traits that can be related to the nervous system like personality/ skill,/intelligence/etc.
We can kind of see this with the matriarch bar-maid asari(Liara's "father") having a real masculine personality, we know that her "father" was a krogan, and she exhibited some of the krogan personality traits.
