Would anyone else have liked a Human Commoner origin?

After all, I'm pretty sure that a non-noble human could learn to fight to the Wardens' standards, and it really *doesn't* make sense that they'd limit themselves to a select pool that replenished itself slowly. Not to mention, it was originally intended to be included (the files might even be in the game!).

I guess no one cares about the Human Avvar Barbarian Origin either though.

Thanks for the link. From the dialog options, it looks like Redcliffe was supposed to have been over-run with darkspawn. I guess that is why they cut it, so they could have the other story there instead.Last Darkness wrote...
You may wanna watch this video then. It has the Human commoner from a farm in Redcliff.

Too bad. That is the origin I would have picked as well for my first playthrough.

I agree - I wanted to make a human thief but ended up playing the Dwarf commoner route instead because a noble thief isn't what I wanted to roleplay. I guess they figure they figure they covered the fact that it could happen with the human thief recruit you meet at Ostegar. (That's not too spoilery for this thread is it?)
Sorry for my part in resurrecting old threads, but I am a million years behind the times and actually just started playing this game! Loving it so far.

I did some digging and didnt come up with anything. You have to dig around the wiki or the toolset to find information.
You will likly also find the origenal way to get Shale in Redcliff this way as well...
I do know the Dwarf named Dwy was the main antagonist of the Origin.

There is a human mage origin, however it isn't that unique because it plays for the most part exactly the same as the elven mage origin. More unique human origins would have been nice though, all of the other races had 2 unique origins, humans had 1.

I don't see how the order in which the origins were made has any bearing on the matter?

My point was your charater was poor in the mage origin story so it falls on being a commoner.Fast Jimmy wrote...
