I don't know if this is off topic or not, but it does fall under the Garrus/Tali subject.
Playing the Sentinel, I was doing the Garrus Loyality Mission. I took Tali because of her AI Hacking and Drone. I was at the last part of the mission where those two huge-ass Mechs show up. Well, I left them behind and ran up to where those two crates shaped like a "V" are. Garrus died and I even had his passive set to give him extra health. (Whatever the last one is) Tali survived. Granted, I killed both of Mechs. But, I was amazed how fast Garrus dropped. Tali just kept on plugging away.
Shocked me.
doing a Garrus and Tali are coming on every mission playthrough, what class would best facilitate this?

Did She have energy drain at that point? It provides a pretty big shield boost on top of being an overload clone.

Nope. I hadn't gotten that far yet. All she had was her drone and shotgun.
For being somewhat of a weak charater, she held her own.

You can just use Stasis now to disable one while you and your squad takes out the other. That way you only have to fight 1 at a time.

meh, no need. Hide behind a crate and wittle one down. Blow it's head off and the resulting nuke will take care of the other.

I would advise going infiltrator with that set up.
Your only weakness would be barriers but
A: you don't get much of those,
B: it would be cake walk against everything else, and you might as use some challange for a change of pace,
C: tempest is pretty good against barriers on its own, so that is not much of the problem, concussive shot is decent as well, and drone does not care about whether target has shields or barriers - it annoys everyone.
D: Cryo Ammo.
E: Infiltrator doesn't really need squadmates
F: Why not?
I've done this, and it was very fun.

If claymore is the super soaker... then geth plasma shotgun is the Oozinator.
