There is no information regarding this and the devs don't answer when asked. Furthermore, the crowd's here quite silent; they were _much_ louder when 1.03 was out.

Witch Hunt was the last DLC so there is no reason to release a patch and break the game even more.

I hope they're making a patch 1.05.

Patch 1.04 didn't help me at all. I still get frequent memory leaks, long loudtimes and the game still crashes (not always, but often) whenever I or Alistair use "Holy smite".

I hope so. A lot of people have suggested that it could be released to consoles as free DLC, to allow Bioware to make it larger than what title updates allow. Fix more that way. That's one of the worries about DA2 coming out so soon, that support for Origins will end.

I agree, I seriously doubt nothing more coming out in reards to DAO and its associated add ons. Pretty much follows the saying, "Stick a fork in it, its done". We won't see anything else until DA2 comes out. We may see a character generator come out for DA2 like they did for DAO, so the n ew people coming on board will have a leg up, but nothing more than that until release...

So if your all done with DAO and add ons, and have played it through till your blue in the face, than take a right turn and go down 3 blocks. You'll come across ME2 and its DLC, which are rather good, with the recent DLC being outstanding. So try your hand over there. I bought the CE Edition of ME2 and have downloaded everything that has released with it (Add ons and DLC's), with the intent of playing it after DAO was completely done and nothing was forth coming. We have now hit that point. Hopefully ME2 will come out with an Expansion game, like DAO Awakening (only without the bugs, lol). So next week, that is where I'll be....

I still get memory leaks too.

A patch would be nice, but with Dragon Effect coming in March, I'm not holding my breath.

Perhaps a community patch someday...

Thing is, I love Dragon Age Origins and want to see it fixed. I want to play it the way it's supposed to be played, not just go on to something similar that works better.

I would like to see a patch to fix at least a couple of the bugs that get you stuck in certain places (like in the lower ruins or the orphanage) and to fix the dlc bugs.

I doubt very much DAO will see 1.05 ... Besides Bioware is now making us pay for fixes!

Bugged save game files were being imported into WH causing the Morrigan DR recognition problem. Instead of releasing a patch that fixes the root of the problem, i.e. the save game files from Origins, and/or any of the other DLC, they made the 'fix' in WH 1.1. So, unless you buy and install WH 1.1, your save game files are still bugged!

For anyone thinking about importing a non-WH save game file into DA2, forget it. Your DR decisions (and who knows what else ...) are bugged ...

Cannot wait for the crap to hit the fan when DA2 comes out ...

Are you sure about this, I thought it was WH that was buggy and couldn't recognise the DR decisions.

I think they will release 1.05 "if" they're going to release a GOTY version in october-November.

I really hope that there will be a patch 1.05 (or 1.1) but I am doubtful of that.
The only thing I can say is that, if there is no final patch to fix the impressive number of bug that are still affecting DAO (and especially Awakening), I would have learn a lesson: Never ever again buy any bioware game! (Unless I already know that the last version of the game is at acceptable level of finish which is far above the level of finish of Awakening and even of DAO).

PS: and yes, without patch 1.05/1.1 for DAO the probability that I would buy DAO 2 is close to 0.

For the people getting memory leaks. Etc. Make sure your drivers, specially video and sound ones. I mailed official technical support and the tech guy pointed me at my video driver outdate. Performance has been increased and I don´t experience any longer that slow behaviour in certain area of Golems of Amgarrak.

As for the Witch Hunt issues, they should be corrected before finally embarking on DA2

Well, you see how great the demand for 1.05 is. Devs do not answer. This thread is almost found on page 2 of the General Discussion and would disappear (as all other 1.05 threads).

I'm mostly interested in a) technical fixes, B) AWAKENING (which is buggy like hell and there was only ONE patch in almost 7 months now... wow!) c) gameplay (not working talents, e.g. Shattering Blows etc. etc. etc.)

I honestly don't get why the Devs can't awenser whether or not there will be another patch. I realize that it may very well be out of their hands, and all, but why would someone restrict that kind of info? I don't want to spend months hoping for something that has no chance of happening.

As far as time goes, if Bioware needs to take 2 years to make a patch that fixes the various issues and get it to work on all consoles, thats fine with me. I just want to see it happen.

I can understand why they wouldn't say anything. For one thing, maybe they don't know for sure whether they'll be doing another one or not (i.e. maybe the green light is in limbo right now).

If they are working on one, I can see why they'd keep mum on it. Instead of threads asking whether there will be a patch 1.05, there would be thread after thread asking what will be patched and where the patch is (what's taking so long). No win for them.

That being said, I'm hoping to see a patch 1.05 as well.

Are you daft? Did you not read what the Moderator wrote? They won't say anything about a new patch until they're almost finished it. Given the rabid nature of these posters, I don't blame them.

Actually, they would have had to release a patch for  Witch Hunt anyway, since the ending auto-save wasn't firing.

OMG no more patches please XD. Do they even account for the people who mod their games, I can't get back some of my old armor and weapons for my newer characters since this 1.04 patch happened, what a pain in the A)*&^
