In Wilhelm's Cellar in Honnleath (Premium content quest area, Sulcher's Pass quest series), there is a sliding squares puzzle.  Has anyone figured out how to get these squares to move, is this content I can come back to later in the game, or is it an example of incomplete content.

Or would it have become active had I let the Desire demon out of the cellar

What does letting the demon go get you?

Click one of the squares around the empty spot.

The direction the arrow is pointing is the direction the flame will jump.

You have to move the squares around to get the flame to travel from one corner to the opposite corner. Each square has an arrow on it, which indicates the direction to which the flame will jump.



Just click on a square to move it and move the puzzle around to connect one corner to the other.

Yes, if you say you will release the demon instead of letting her take the girl. You can complete puzzle unlock the barrier and then say "Nah, I think I will just kill you." (paraphrased)



This is the only way I found to keep the girl alive, but my pursuade skill is terrible.

The demon will also back out of the deal, but you still save the girl because she gets scared and "won't let Kitty inside me" and runs off.

Ah, I killed the demon (and thus the girl), so the puzzle is unresponsive to me. When i hover my mouse over a tile, it does nothing..
