I'm sorry but if shuttle got too close to the entrance don't you think the broker would have shot it down?

1. Why couldn't they detect the shuttle before, when it flew from space, from behind the ship, along side it, and then all the way to the front of the ship?
2. Only service drones detected them, and that was after they dropped off the shuttle.

Well, the shuttle does have cloaking capabilities.

Lies!

I interpret active masking as cloaking capabillities.

yes true but in order drop the shuttle the normandy have to get close enough to even drop the shuttle the shadow broker might seen that; safer to just work your way up from the rear.

not to mention that it doesn't even look like there was a viable lading zone at the front of the ship,

1. Which has nothing to do with going to the front of the ship.
2. It's not safer to WORK YOUR WAY UP FROM THE REAR and then travel to the front.  It's safer to get in and out as fast as possible, like from where you were coming from (the rear.)
3. There was no landing zone at the front of the ship either; the Kodiak literally hovered above while they jumped off the thing.

well ask yourself this would it be fun for the player to just get in and out as fast you can?

Most definitely: giving the "pew-pewing" some meaning, by making it go hand in hand with the narrative could've all been achieved inside the ship (in fact, the only narration we get is from Liara when we go inside that ship engine-alcove.)  The decrypting scene would've been the first, and the interior could've been a much more dynamic search for Feron, instead of one long corridor after another.

That's a good point but I did enjoy the fighting outside of the ship because of the physics stuff. It reminded me of the Citadel fight near the end of ME1, being able to send people flying off into space and all.

Needs more rage, also more showmanship.

Try wrestling with guy dressed as Bugs Bunny Garrus or something next time.

I agree with you a little this how I wish it played  out.

shuttle drops shepard  and party a the entrance where he/she then enters the base and fight there way to the shadow broker

Because he's a sad pathetic little man that doesn't have a life and wastes his time bashing a game on the internet

It's because Smudboy is a giant troll and he enjoys bashing something like this in order to get responses. Go back and listen or read his stuff and you will see it's all very similar in tone. I find it kinda humorous how it usually plays out. His arrogance and pretension really get people going.

Well.... Least he's got a hobby....... I'd rather that kind of neurotic and obsessive behavior be focused on critiquing video games, than being unleashed on some poor hooker ..... or rent boy...

To all those people who have a reason why the ship is landing at the front liara says we need to land at the front of the ship and look for a viable entrance. The closest one was far away. They made a mistake and misjudged where a opening would be.

I don't think you quite understand what a troll is.  In fact, neither do I.  Although I do wish to welcome debate, doing so by starting it off with name calling isn't the best bet.

However, if you have AN ACTUAL POINT, and then call me a flaming moron, or some such: this I can work with.

As it is, you are yet another wonderous report button poster.  Please comment on the analysis, or not at all, thanks.

Quote?  I distinctly recall her referring to the docking bay being locked.  Which means she is aware of an entraceway, which implies she'd be aware of other entranceways, like the one closest to the shuttle that eventually has to be decrypted.  This still does not explain how all the other mercs/security guys pop out of nowhere.

maybe they uh... defend the front?
Maybe it dosn't have to make sense because its a video game and an action sequence and it would be rather freaking short lived if -everybody- took the shortest route possible????

These are conventions that are not alien to any form of entertainment....

I think your "suspension of disbelief" button is broken...... which is ironic since you are playing a video game with humanoid aliens who all speak english as their primary language.

Why did all the quarians speak english aboard their own ship, at their own trial... for the benefit of the human????
Does that make any god damned sense at all? Quarrians clearly have their own language and you'd think they'd assign a translator for shepard because it's unlikely as hell that English has become the dominant form of language in the galaxy in the very short time that humans have been capable of inter system travel...

But you know what, we suspend the disbelief there....

Not at all.  They could've had a wonderfully long, complex time inside the shipe, doing that thing they were supposed to do: find Feron.  Instead of taking the scenic route for absolutely no reason.

You answered your own question... they took the sceneic route.... because its more interesting than the interior of the ship from a player point of view...

Here ya go, want a valid excuse...

Liaria is stupid. There, that wraps it up nicely. Ditto for -anything- that wasn't a logical choice...the characters are flawed and stupid at times.....  they are only "human/taurian/drell/whatever" and they don't make the right choices all the time.....

there is your explaination :)

Well, slap my fro.  God forbid I use a word such as gay.  My goodness.  I hope I didn't offend your vocabulary, or words to that effect, whatever those words might be.  Like "awesome and gay."

'yo mamma.
