I don't have any initial plans for it (I have at least 4 characters planned, 2 males and 2 females for each option) but my characters can sometimes surprise me, if for example, my elven mage and Alistair have such a good relationship going, and seem like best buds, and my mage isn't exactly the type for either female, sure, I may go for some Alistair love.

I didn't mean to disturb you, I can't imagine dating a man, there's a difference between something linked to and imaginary world(elves, dwarfs, lil pinkish fairy), than imagining playing something that's miles away from my taste, such as dating males, necrophilia, zoophilia, or raping, playing a woman is fun, but I can't imagine dating a man, even if I play a woman, just like I doubt you could play a pedophile, and playing a woman in a game like that is just because it's more pleasant to the eye.

EDIT: also, playing a woman is just exploring another part of our "personality", while I'm totaly stranger to homosexuality.

I don't think that a BioWare writer has yet commented on the Chantry's view on the subject, but I have a feeling that the Chant of Light probably doesn't concern itself with sexuality, leaving the priests and templar to throw up their hands. Just a guess, obviously.

They have. Recall that the fans have harassed, um, interacted with BioWare's developers for five years now and they've given us an impressive amount of information. As Korva said, the Chantry doesn’t see sex or same-sex relations as bad/evil.

Morrigan is wild and amoral. Bisexual woman are wild and amoral. Leliana is sweet and religious. Bisexual woman are not sweet or religious. Ergo, Morrigan is the bisexual one.

I have in the past.

I've also played PCs who explore F/F relationships too.

So long as the NPC(s) and the relationship(s) fascinate me, I'm willing to interact with the story in this aspect and enjoy the ride. That doesn't mean that I'm not a total Alistair groupie though, so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that I can romance the DA:O version of my boyfriend (who is blonde and a total goof ball).

Bleh. I want to chime in for a moment to express that this has long been one of my greatest sources of aggravation. The stereotype that bisexual = a promiscuous and deviant individual is maddening at times. Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if that was his reasoning behind it.

Trying to stay somewhat on topic, I'm hoping both are an option so we can choose based on our interactions with them during the game.

Agreed. So far I am crazy about Alistair, but if I get IG and find that Zevran is much more appealing, I'd like the freedom to explore a M/M relationship with him. The same is true for Leliana and Morrigan. I'd love to know that I am capable of enjoying the romances with each NPC as they all seem quite intriguing.
