I'm thinking of playing as a male city elf because the origin is obviously very different from that perspective, he'll probably romance Zevy-baby.

Why is this choice even in the game?  Why?  What's next, bestiality, pedophilia, necrophilia?  Where is the line drawn?  Poor decision to open this can of worms Bioware.

The line is drawn with what is generally accepted by the audience of the games they sell, of course. If the audience was pushed away because of a decision, they would think twice about it in the future. Fortunately, in this case, DA:O sold pretty well so we have our answer.

But since this is a very old thread that has been co-opted by more recent discussions, I'll lock this one up.
