 I don't know if any of you guys knew this, but Mass Effect made a small cameo appearance in the latest EP for The Sims 3.   If a sim makes a time machine and travels to the future, there's a small chance they'll end up in the Mass Effect universe!  The game told me that my sim appeared in a crowd of people that were cheering about a Shepard who saved the universe from some big, monster thing.  (I don't remember the exact words but it was obviously a Reaper)   Quite a pleasant surprise if you ask me.

I actually didn't know this myself but then I can't say I am a big "fan" of the sims.  I think it will take a lot more than that to convince me to get the sims though.  How about giving us the ability to import our Shepard into the SIms now that might just get me purchasing a copy of the game.

Oh, I'm not trying to convince anybody to get the game.  I just thought it was pretty cool of them to put that in there.  It actually makes sense; seeing how both games are published by EA.

Actually, he dies at the beggining of the second half, long way from the end.

There also a book you can buy for your Sims called Dragon Age or something along those lines. I did indeed giggle when I saw that. I kept it at one sim's bedside.
