I had my rogue wearing the medium Dragonbone armour - you need over 30 strength for that. Obviously you have to sacrifice some dex and cunning but it's not a bad choice.

Between various books and the Fade I gave my rogue 30 strength, the other various items I'd picked up gave enough strength for her to use the weapons I wanted her to.

Yep, he was a Strength Rogue. 30 Cunning and rest into strength for armor and weapons. It's a surprisingly solid build that can do many things Warriors can't - it's even in that uber DA rogue guide that Hauntbot wrote somewhere on the web.

I imagine not many cunning rogues can rush an Ogre head-on and stick it two in the chest.

Something tells me that, despite Duncan may have contained just enough strength to wear medium armor and a blade, that these benefits were the sole gain from his investment. But then again, as I mentioned before, I do see it possible that he might have learned a few legionnaire skills.

All those long lonely nights in the Deep Roads, with only the Legionnaires for company...

Not to mention they LOVED him for his understanding of the reality of facing darkspawn everyday. To me it was only a matter of time, not hope.
