They won't even let us keep Liara.  With her skillset, Samara seems much weaker than Liara.  At the very least, they could detach Pull from Throw for her, something to make her useful before she gets Reave.

I cannot fathom why they make this mistake in half the games out there. Unskippable cutscenes are one of the most annoying things ever.

The number of times I've heard that conversation between Miranda and TIM... Recently it even crashed just before the actual character creation stuff. Sigh, 10 more minutes.


It would be great to be able to skip through the cutscenes in the intro/prelude the same way you can during most of the game.  I actually minimize the game and do something else, and then come back to make the little choices during the attack, then min out again until I figure it's ready for me at Lazarus Station.


not being able to skip cutscenes are so typical by EA games.

That's DLC, slim to none chances of fixing.


You know, the problem isn't really "bugs that don't affect gameplay will not be corrected", like Bioware said one time.
It's because the game don't work as is intended.

Take for example a innofensive bug, the quarian slave on Illium.
You have the option to convince the slave trader release her or the Synthetic Insights hire her.
But there's a bug where you can gain paragon/renegade points from both of them: speak with the SI rep, but don't persuade her; convince the slave trader to realease the quarian, then go back to SI rep and convince her to hire the quarian.
You can gain 5 paragon + 5 renegade or 10 paragon or 10 renegade.

I don't believe this will have repercutions in ME3, but let's imagine that Bioware comes with a really good and funny idea for this quest in ME3.
Perhaps a problem will happen just like in Conrad's Verner and now they can't use it because it was bugged and not corrected.

I'm not asking perfection, but some coherence will be good, no one likes a bugged game.
And Mass Effect series are plagged with bugs.

can't save game when driving Hammerhead. especially Overlord dlc's outdoor part in insanity really annoying when Hammerhead blows up so easily

It does die awfully quickly. But you can just outrange all the enemies.



I wasn't actually sure if it worked differently on insanity. Seemed much the same to me on insanity as normal.

on most hammerhead missions you can outrange easily, but in Overlord, turrets don't pop up until you are in their range

Biotics not working on frozen enemies sometimes. That's something that needs to be fixed.

I wish the radar could be persistent, rather than having to pause the game to see where the enemies are.

I'd like them to address the aiming issue where sometimes Shepard gets locked facing a certain angle, no matter how you aim. This makes sprinting send you in unpredictable directions. For some reason, this happens most frequently when I'm fighting Scions and surrounded by Husks. I'm not sure why it has yet to kill me.

I'll give it a try on the xbox.  I'm assuming you mean pausing to bring up the menu (squad, journal, codex, etc).

Usually I just freak out until Charge's cooldown completes.  Charge usually fixes it too, at least in my experience.

hitting the start button on xbox controller works for me

The one bug that kill me many times - when I am lucky and for me to reload to an earlier save when I am unlucky is getting stuck.



Sometime I just get stuck at the end of a fight - might have something to do with my team members suddenly appearing next to me and "pushed" me into spot.



Especially frustrating when I get myself stuck after a Charge. >.<"

We are in the first phase (Input). We'll have to wait for the 3th phase (Ratings of Importancy) to determine what will be top and bottom on the list.

Exactly this. That way we keep this topic clean, from "yet out of place" things.

I have another, bug/glitch:
On Helyme (?) in the Zelene System/Crescent Nebula, the N7 Mission with the raided Eldfell-Ashland Mine where you have to hold out until the decryption has finished, I am currently experiencing a very annoying and at least fun-breaking bug. Already having determined the location of the spawning Merc wave is being switched on where Shepard is upon starting the decryption, I locate my Squadmates (Garrus/Grunt) in secure points and place myself as far as I can on the other side when hacking the terminal to encircle the mercs when they come. So far so good, first wave of Mercs comes in as expected and gets fend off up to them not being able to pass the entrance (myself covering at the extendable bridge with the sniper rifle Image IPB).
Thing is, now a second wave suddenly comes in from exactly behind me (One Vanguard+Four normal dudes), killing me almost instantly.
Very fun breaking!

Well I tried doing that but I still triggered it a couple of times, afterwards I felt like I had to take a shower in addition to normal decontamination procedures.

Suggesting patch ideas at this stage is, in my humble opinion, an exercise in futility, but here are some I wish would be fixed:



Samara's loyalty mission ending - the music cuts off, both PC and X360. Jack Wall himself said it was a bug and he wrote the music cue for this cutscene. Fixed version on YouTube:



Squad re-specialization - yay for forcing DLC! It's a crucial game features that can only be obtained with a 10$ DLC? Seriously, BioWare, that's lazy - it shouldn't be at all hard to patch it in.



Garrus' loyalty mission ending - a famous and very irritating graphics glitch...



Hotkeys - another lacking feature, ME2 is the only high profle game I've ever played that lacked hotkeys on the PC;



Various aiming glitches - it happens rarely after patch 1.02, but sometimes I still get stuck or Shepard starts sliding out of cover/aiming improperly if I try to aim at certain angles;

Just let whatever it is hit the ground. (Or just get back up) Don't shoot at it again til then and it's fine.

I'm not trying to sound nasty or anything and don't mean to be taken that way, but it's not that hard not to trigger
