Everytime I try and log in to find multiplayer servers I get a message "Connection failed. Try another Nick"

Are all the servers down and multiplayer doesn't work anymore?

Do I need gamespy installed for it?

Any help would be great.

No and no, but otherwise can't help.

My suggestion would be to create a new account and see if you can connect to a server using it.

If that doesn't work, check your router/firewall settings?

Also, if you recently installed Peerblock or any anti-spyware/antivirus, disable those when trying to log in.
