Don't wanna romance a dwarf, don't hit on the dwarf. Really, it's that easy.
I just wanna break a lot of 3/4 size hearts.

LI options are always limited. Give one type and there's no room for another type. But BioWare has proven they don't only include what the majority might want (except for the fact that Hawke must be human now). If we are given a dwarf romance I'd rather it be a female dwarf for multiple reasons (one of those being my female PCs having taller options for themselves).

Leaving aside the issue of Hawke's race, I agree. If nothing else, Mass Effect 2 proved that BioWare is willing to go fairly niche with their romances. Garrus, Tali, and Thane have turned out to be quite popular among their fanbase, but they couldn't really have predicted how popular, and those romances with more alien party members were probably intended for a minority of folks.

The ME 2 team even included an easter egg for a tiny fraction of Thane fans. We felt so loved.
I am still very appreciative of David Gaider finally giving us an elf male LI. Even if he "doesn't really count" because he's not very stereotypically elfish.
