Welcome soignee. I trust you'll enlighten the masses about how awesome Dwarf romance can be?
I'll start posting Missa butt. That usually gets a few converts.

Lord_Valandil,
for once I disagree with you on something. I seriously believe elven
romance, whether male or female, has been done to death as well, and
regardless if its not the same, Tolkien started the trend for all
fantasy games to include this and dwarven-romance supporters have been
ignored since [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/sad.png[/smilie]. I seriously hope you're not supporting holding back such an option.
Oh
no, of course not. I'm not against dwarven romance, I said in the
previous page that I'm OK with dwarves, just not my cup of tea [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie] And what I said about the Broodmother...just joking.
However,
I woud really love to see a female elf LI. Maybe it's been done to
death, but also the story of the "Chosen one who saves the world", and
well, we got the Warden, and he's such a cool character.
If done well, Elven romance could be great as well. Just my opinion, my fault for being an elven lover [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/angel.png[/smilie]
Point
taken about "chosen one" plot. And no worries, I just get particularly
defensive over what I perceive as people making trollish statements
about Dwarf love (the hate on the threads is unbelievable and large).
I have Stone Fever, and am damn proud of it. You should take a look into it [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie]. You might end up a new convert [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]

Ahh that was funny, even it it was making fun of me [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/joyful.png[/smilie] (though not sure what it was that scared you)
But seriously, I want my female dwarf romance! There's such a growing demand for it, I'm sure a few months from now it'll actually be a popular demand.
I don't blame you. During Awakening, I was kind of into Velanna after dealing so much with Morrigan, but was left to keep our relationship professional. Now, Sigrun.... I absolutely loved her! Not as a romance, but as a character herself. She's the type you just want to bring along because she's like the adorable, smart-ass sister. Hoping Bethany takes a page out of Sigrun's book and stays to that style...
I just realized I related a dwarven romance to a possible elven romance, then put in the fact that I never thought of Sigrun as an even remote chance of romance. I'm weird.

And I prefer the idea of "plucking the elfroot" of some lovely elven girl myself. But I also don't mind the idea of "greasing up the bronto" with some comely dwarven lass.

Haha, nah. S'fine. You can't win them all. It's like all those guys/girls getting all uppity about someone wanting to romance a lizardman. There's no accounting for taste.

Agreed. I hope my character will be going deep in the woods with an elven chick.

I'd buy you a drink.
I agree with you. Why not have both? That would be fantastic.

I agree with you, sir. My character would be more than happy to explore such a deep forest

If Varric is romanceable, then there probably won't be a female dwarf to romance. I HIGHLY doubt that BioWare is going to provide two romanceable companions of the same race (a race besides human, I mean). Hell in DA:O, Zevran was the only non-human romance.
Why not? I for one was hoping for no human female romances in DA2. Simply because we had 2 of them in Origins. I was hoping for
Female Dwarf
female elf and a female Qunari.
Would have been a nice change of pace from the normal human romances. But guess we will have to wait and see.

8 companions was a lot for Origins, 4 of them being LI's, 3 being romancable on a single play through.
In this light I do believe we will be limited in out choices, and seeing that there is one dwarf that is possibly on the list already, I doubt we'll be getting others.
That being said, I am all for a dwarf female romance. And hope we get one in DA2.

Oh please. Hawke may be a surfacer, but I bet there's plenty of dwarven girls who wouldn't mind him plunging into their mineshafts.

Anyway, I'm all for a female dwarf LI. Don't see the problem, and don't understand why people find it so repulsive then go on to want qunari LI and romancing aliens in ME. Whatever, Hawke's gonna be missing out if they don't add one.
