I want a female dwarf LI, too. There are too many adorable/sexy dwarven ladies around to deny us one for much longer. I mean, you have Dagna and Sigrun, who are just freakin' precious. Then there's Rica, who's absolutely gorgeous, in my opinion. And... well, we won't get into my weird crush on Jarvia.yukidama wrote...
Yeah... the gross euphemisms are getting to be a bit much now.
Anyway, I'm all for a female dwarf LI. Don't see the problem, and don't understand why people find it so repulsive then go on to want qunari LI and romancing aliens in ME. Whatever, Hawke's gonna be missing out if they don't add one.

I'm pretty sure that's impossible, my little deep mushroom, but have it your way.
The hardest part about putting a dwarf romance in the game is that a lot of people won't take it seriously. I don't mind it, as I'm pretty open-minded, but I know that it will open the game up to a lot of mockery.
And incidentally, Felsi was the most attractive dwarven girl in the game.

My favorite PC is an elf, but the argument that dorf chicks look more like children than they do is stupid.

Don't hate me for this, but I do see an uppity !@#$#$##&$%^%* that I still have a bad tendency to really, really want to kill after going through the Dwarven Commoner story enough times. I beg of thee your pardon and forgiveness for such an outlandish statement. It was knee jerk.

Hahaha, no need to apologize! I totally understand. My DC wanted to string her up after what she did. My Lady Aeducan, however, found her intriguing and kind of hot. Until she started doing that POOF DISAPPEARS BACKSTAB BACKSTAB POOF thing. That ruined all attraction. The Director wrote...

Pity they didn't offer more options for recruiting into our Warden's army... Were I more inclined to accept such a force, the carta and some of its members were definitely the type that would have been good for a few laughs and have some interesting companions.Calla S wrote...

Come to think of it, I just became upset that they pulled Jowan from being a companion again! Random dropped companion rage that came out of no where really sucks!

I do foresee that such a romance would draw, at least, a bit of mockery from some gamers. Whether it would also generate a controversy, well, maybe. Depends on if certain organizations in the media want to make it into one. (because if they want to, oh, they will) I doubt it would develop naturally.
Yeah, every romance has been. Gamers mock Alistair. They mock Leliana. They mock Morrigan. They mock Zevran. They mock the alien sex in ME/2 and the human sex in it too. I don't see why being able to romance a dwarf would draw any more controversy and mockery than any other. What are they gonna say, "OMG AN AVERAGE HEIGHT HUMAN CAN ROMANCE A PERSON WHO LOOKS LIKE A SHORT HUMAN WOMAN, SO OFFENSIVE!!111"
Honestly, I just don't get how a dwarf romance is any more "offensive" than having sex and romancing anyone else who isn't human.

Obnoxious? I thought he was more oblivious to the overall situation than obnoxious. But it would've been nice to see him a bit more developed after his fate was decided in Redcliffe besides seeing him lead the mages into Denerim after siding with them.... Or maybe that was a good ending for him....
Come to think of it, who else was pulled?

No, I think there would be a lot more mockery of the dwarf romance. They're going to say, "wtf bioware why are you setting me up with this midget?" or something similar. It would be worse than the Zevran homophobia, I think.
I didn't say that means they shouldn't include it, by the way.

Pretty much hit the nail on the head. How would a dwarf romance be anything shocking by today's video game standards?yukidama wrote...

People can romance avian raptors, lizards, and a girl who has spent her entire life in a suit, but we get **** for wanting to romance someone SHORTER THAN US? Quoi?

Seriously. They just look like short people. Sorry if you don't like having partners shorter than you in real life, but what the heck does real life have to do with a fantasy video game? If it really bothers some people that much then I am sorry that they have problems but not everyone is as shallow :innocent:
