And dwarf romances are far from it.

I guess this has mainly to do with me having friends that were always shorter than me when I was growing up. Since high school, all my female friends were shorter (I am 5'6" and have been since I was around 13).Yet, they all looked adult and have had relationships with guys that are much taller than them. It doesn't strike me as weird or gross. Some people like short women, and some short women like taller people. The taller person isn't a pedophile for liking them and the shorter person has the right to date whoever they want.
So basically, no, not everyone immediately thinks "child!" when they see a short person. Not with dwarves, not with elves.

Bioware does whatever the damn they want when it doesn't come to porn and shown butchering of children.
LOL. So true.

Yes, they are short. That's not up for debate, really. Yes, they are shorter than elves. If it is your reaction that when you see a short woman your first thought is "child", well, that's you.
No, as I have stated many times, that is not my "first thought." It is my thought when I look at it trying to understand other points of view.

I actually doubt it would cause a media controversy, really. I was going to take that part of my original statement back. (also the part about doubting it could develop naturally) When I say controversy I mean in the same sense that Zevran was a controversy and brought out a lot of homophobes to **** and moan on the forums. Only possibly worse.
All the more reason to include a female dwarf LI. Bioware has always been progressive when it comes to the more social interactions and choices in games, and sometimes they have created controversy. That is much of a problem for them. If people who are so morally against this idea are disgusted by such a choice on Bioware's part, they just need to deal with it, as it is about a CHOICE, not somethine required in the game.
Everything Yuki has said has been extremely relevant to the topic and honest each of those posts of Yuki's should have ended discussion, ended the thread.
Also, as I said, there is a growing demand. I have no idea about this since I wasn't active on the forums at all during this time, but I'm sure the Garrus/Tali LI demands for ME2 were small in number at some point as well, and met with the same amount and viciousness of resistance. It'll eventually happen, so naysayers need to just accept it. The question is when. and I'm hoping its sooner rather than later.

@filaminster That is the moaners' problem. And how exactly was Zevran a controversy?
Well I agree, as I have also stated a couple of times that this controversy doesn't mean they shouldn't include it, if they deem it fitting in their overall plot.
It's a controversy because.. that's the word I'm using to describe the influx of ****ing and moaning from gamers who hate feature X?

That's not even controversy anymore. That's just the internet.

It's a heaping helping of the ugly bowels of the internet, though. Can get tiresome. I'm reminded of the controversy about pirate lady and those two trolls who wouldn't stop going on about how ugly she is.

This time next year, we'll remember fondly the controversy over the conversation wheel. Hopefully while romancing our dwarf and not getting **** about it anymore.yukidama wrote...
Then DA2 in general, no matter what the content, is controversial anyway if you base controversy on the amount of whining and complaining from gamers.

My ego, it has been stroked. awwn, okay:

Oh, and because this is supposed to be a decent discussion, I love the overall personality of Dwarves. Fun, aggressive, and tough
, and thats both men and women
Yep. I listening to the podcast where the writers said dwarf women were roller derby girls in in personality and I got confused, as I didn't know much and assumed like, Hooter-esque women in rollerskates.
And then I watched Whip It:

...which is an awesome coming-of-age feminist movie and it made me love Dwarves from this fandom more

I never liked dwarven characters until I played DA. My Lady A is just my favourite of any character I've ever played on any game. I actually haven't been able to play a full DA game as a human so far, idk why. BUT if I HAVE to play as a human in DA2, then I'd love a dwarven love interest either male or female. I don't care, I'd just love one of them.

Still wish Sigrun had been romancable heh.
Me too. She so cute
Dunno why, but I found the dwarven ladies to be the 'hottest'. Short and buff and bosomed!
+1. Mostly after Aimo fanart's about Lady Aeducan

THIS! Besides Morrigan, my favorite women were dwarves, and I wish Sigrun had been romanceable for my other male wardens besides my main-Morrigan-romancing one.
And this is mostly a combination of seeing dwarves in DAO, as well as Aimo's and Soignee's fanarts and fanarts based on each artist's characters

Jowan is easily the most obnoxious NPC in the game IMO, I am not shedding any tears over him being cut from the game >.>
Anyway, yes... children...

Edit: Whoops, wrong links. Must have gotten distracted by boobs.
They are children with boobs, seriously whats the difference between these pieces of "Art" and lolita hentai "Artwork" depicting preteen girls with large breasts?
