@Dsurian. oh i didn't think of it as 'golf-type'. over here a lot of people wear white/lighter/muted polos/tees. probably because we don't see golf as a regular sport here (like basketball). plus its going to be summer soon.

@SIim Charles. but what about casual fridays~? i could see people wearing those polos to work/out-and-about. there not too-casual and not to brand-affliated.

i wear my n7shirt to normal places & at home, but i dont think i'll be wearing it in summer. i'll melt into a pile of goo.

I'm in medical school, we don't have casual ANYTHING.

But, I suppose for others, that'll do. Again, I know a lot of people like polos, just not my thing, so I won't pretend to understand why and when someone would want to wear one.

Heh. The dress code at my workplace is basically, "You must wear clothing. Other people don't want to see your junk." My N7 hoody covers my shame nicely.

Hah, the dress code at school for me is "If that tie comes undone, you are working at a Walmart eyecare center, MD and 12 years of schooling be damned."

...not to imply that one has  to play golf in order to wear a light colored polo - its just the stereotype that i think of...i dont even play golf.  Summer would cause a smattering of lighter colored shirts, but it sometimes hits 100 degrees Faren. with average humidity around where i live, so polo shirts tend to be just a bit too heavy for that kind of heat.

As far as work atire, unless a tie is demanded, i don't see a problem at all with the ME polo's, except some super-uptight boss may have an issue with the white/red stripe around the collar of the N7 - but screw em, thats one hell of a shirt.  Then there's the red star or blue feathered-wing which could easily be misconstrued as a brand logo, making it all the sweeter when it becomes an inside joke among your co-workers who get it.  Personally, i love the fact that the Store is coming out with some more mature clothing - Charles, I'm begining to wonder if its even possible for them to create a product that you can't whine about...

Cerberus Pen holders, or other classy desk stuff.

*cough* normandy model *cough*

Dog tags do want, also wrist watch would be cool, cuff links in flavours of all factions (N7, Alliance, Spectre and Cerberus), maybe even an N7 tie (dark black with the white/ red N7 logo 3/4 way down and left - centre.

Sunglasses (with overlaid hud for lols). dual breast pocket button up shirt in N7 flavour (red stripe on one side) would become my all time most worn piece of clothing.

...

er...cerberus kitchen utensils? Yeah, I'm that geeky.

Agreed 2 sizes of the Normandy Model would be awesome.  One for your desktop (6 inches or so) and one to hang from the ceiling (2ft-3ft) big.

:o

More on topic, if suddenly all the planets align and somebody decides that a 28mm (war)gaming miniature line suddenly IS the best idea ever, I'm sure you could do worse than call up this guy.

The polos aren't bad, not quite sure about the lines on the N7 collar.... still better off on the sleeve, if at all?

Things I'm personally really interested;

Plushies
Replica Ships
Keychains

Things I may consinder buying, depending of the fianl design/quality;

Shot Glasses
Wallet
Tote Bag

I remember somebody a while ago suggested a series of "tourist" postcards from the various game locales in the vein some Firefly merchandise. I thought that was a really cute idea.

I would also like to add my voice to those asking for more mature designs.

And one to slide over the top of your car so you can drive around helping random people with their problems.

Or this.

They would cost hundreds of dollars but they would be worth it.

Found the SR1's creator's flickr account.. consider me impressed.  Never thought I'd like seeing the Mako again.  Awesome Alliance and Turian Cruisers too.

Awesome builds, and just imagine what they could be with fully customized pieces and actual Lego engineers to design them

Yes to thermals and those polos that were shown on Facebook. Maybe to shot glasses or regular glasses.

It would probably end up being out of my price range but a Lego Normandy set would be awesome.

Other ideas:

cell phone skins

watches with things like the N7 logo or Grey Warden shield on the face (nicer looking, not like the 5 dollar kiddie watches)

Saying essentially "I am not a fan of polos/shot glasses, but I know a lot of people do, so whatever" = whining? GJ bud, GJ.

Shot glasses, patches and Joker's hat would be awesome if they are good quality. Lanyards would be great too for ME, DA and TOR. I'd definitely get those as I can wear them to work.

No football jerseys.

Embroidered patches would be great.

So would dog tags.

Embroidered patches with velcro backing. No lame designs either - make them stuff like Shepard's N7 insignia, the Blood Pack logo, Blue Suns, etc. ala military unit patches.

Love the patches idea, besides the Legos (which are probably just a fantasy) they are the only things I am really interested in.
