I just installed the latest update to DAO, and now I can't load any of my old characters! The only option on the main menu is to start a new game. I looked in my DAO folder and all of my character's folders are in there with their save info, but I can't seem to get to them in game. Please help! I just downloaded awakening and some other DLCs, but now I'll have to make entirely new characters to play them : (

Hmm... you might try creating a new character, save it, and see if you can reload it. Then look for the folder for this new character and see if the other characters are there as well.

Aah, that worked! I apparently after the update, the characters got stored in the documents folder, so I moved the old ones there and I was able to get to them in game. Thanks a lot!

Very welcome. The characters are always supposed to be in the Documents:Bioware:Dragon Age:Characters folder, afaik.
