ok I found this...

Leliana, if romanced, 'unhardened', and The Warden sacrifices him- or herself in the final battle. She will compose what will become a famous ballad of your journey. After one performance, Leliana quietly vanishes. It is said that the maker came to her in the night, and her maid found Leliana smiling, with tears in her eyes, saying that at last she would soon be reunited with her love.

Sounds to me like death from a broken heart, not suicide.

didnt mean to confuse

Alistair: So I'm wondering something... what exactly does a woman see in a man like Zevran?
Leliana: Oh, he's handsome enough for some. Why do you ask?
Alistair: No reason. It's just... doesn't he seem to be a bit too much? The hair, the clothing...
Leliana: I don't understand. A bit too much what? Do you have a problem with him?
Alistair: Beyond the fact that he's an assassin who's tried to kill us more than once. No... no, not really. Do women go for that sort of thing?
Leliana: Where I come from they do, oh yes.
Alistair: Huh. Really? I see.

so apparently guys in Orlais seem similar to Zev.  Thats how I looked at it.  i could be wrong.

Idk if lel openly flirts with Zev because unhardened Lel will tell Zev that he may have his chance if he is the last man in Fereldan.

Hah, that's nothing to do with a man who's all about pleasure -- it's about women being attracted to assassins in Orlais.  Being attracted to the danger.

I never said Leliana openly flirts with Zevran -- I said she thinks he's attractive.  She tells a warden that if she's at friendly and Zevran is at adore or Love.  And if she's hardened she calls Zevran on his bluff.

she did love my male warden, afterall. #sniffle*

yea I always figured it was from a broken heart because Lel has had alot of heartbreak in her life.  i was worried about her character after breaking up with her acouple times because the way she attaches herself to the warden, is not healthy.

then i will admit i was wrong, i wasnt trying to apply that you said Lel flirts with Zev..

I think Lel coyly flirts with people.  male or female.  We have the hair convo with females where she compliments the females hair to see where a female stands on same sex.  male she will tease  to try to get him to charm her and will apply hes attractive.  she gives morri fashion advice which could be considered coyly flirting depends how you look at it.

*grin* It's all interpretation I suppose. I love the conversation between Leliana and Morrigan when Morri tells her to "stop staring at my breasts!"

Yes she loses the one person in the world she cares about most. and commits suicide in grief.
For some reason people make this out for her to be crazy.

Thats not being crazy and even an average person who loses a loved one falls to pieces.

No, it just means that you see things differently and are unwilling to change your view, hence why I said in that very early post that debating this subject with you was pointless.

Well I think I figured this out.

The male warden is prolly the first man Lel has ever cared for. She loves him no less then the female ,but its new to her. She does treat the male diffferently then the female I notice. she finds the male "An interesting person but I dont know what to make of you sometimes." as she states. So sleeeping around with another woman isnt going to help Leliana's opinion of him. thats why i think she is possesive, i know she might go off about Zev, but she really really puts a male in his place during the convo, more so then morrigans "I do not share." convo.

Again I could be wrong so just say if i am.

again i could be wrong.

This.

Grief and symptoms of depression after the loss of a loved one are very common, human responses and not considered abnormal. You can interpret her suicide as an indication that she was always mentally unstable and chemically imbalanced and just finally went over the edge at the end of the game OR you can interpret it as her suffering from exogenous depression caused by external trauma and loss and that is not a reflection of some internal defect.

This is how I've always interpreted as well. The epilogue slide says "the Maker told her that she would see her loved one again", hence it could be viewed as the Maker predicting her early death. I'll be honest, it wasn't until I came into the forums and people started talking about suicide that I even saw it that way. I had never interpreted the slide like that.

Or you can say it's suicide. Whatever suits your fancy.

They all crack. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Unless you make Alistair king, Alistair will crack. Zevran definitely cracks. Leliana cracks, hardened or no, though in different ways. If you do the US, your LI cracks.

Unless they have something compelling to keep them going (King Alistair, Morrigan and her mission, whatever it is), they are just shells of the wonderful people they were!

Gah, I"m talking about them like they're real. But the US is such a tragic ending if you're in a romance.

Thank goodness I can let Loghain run off and become the hero.

Or can knock up morrigan, depending on the PC.

I would hate it if the US was the only end to Origins.

They may not be real, but they sure feel real at times.

Alright, I thought about this. Leliana thinks Morrigan is beautiful, and she has issues with insecurity sometimes. Never has had a guy in her life who has been an influence to her. She sees you with Morrigan, and starts thinking Morrigan is more attractive then her. She makes a comment about it. The fact Morrigan gets the last word in all the cat fights doesnt help lel's self esteem. I could be wrong though.

I find Morri acting like the possesive house wife while Lel plays the jealous gf
