Post any observations you have made from either the books or games that you think will play a big part in or at least set the scene of ME 3.

For Example:

Shepard will finally have to confront the Reapers. 

Also...

Based on what I read in ME: Retribution,  David Anderson will no longer be a member of the Citadel Council. ( I realize that some people may not have chosen Anderson at the end of ME1, but it seems the author did.)

You will play ME3 as a volus with a limp. Her name will be Q. T. McSmallpants and she will have a fear of firearms, biotics, aliens, strong language and minigames.

Oh, and she'll be celibate.

I believe it takes place AFTER the events of ME2.

If I remember correctly it was Udina who joined the Council in the books with Anderson as his advisor.

It's not a huge leap in logic to assume that even if the books did have Anderson as Councilor, he would still step down to help Kahlee. One because its the only way the book works, and two, it's in his character. He says in the game that politics isn't his area of expertise. He was just looking for a reason to get off the Citadel.

Mass Effect 3 will be thirty-six hours of Shepard and Tali'Zorah cuddling, with Tali uttering intermittent sighs of "Oh, Shepard..." and giggling. And this will be regardless of the player's personal Shepard or choice of Love Interest.

And the soundtrack will be Jacob singing "Can't Smile Without You" whilst playing a sax. Over and over again...

Shepard wakes up from this fantastic dream to the banging of his door --- the basement door that is as he's late for his job at the Pizza Emporium. He rises toppling over crushed coke cans and empty pizza boxes, over weight with big huge black rimmed glasses wearing Bermuda shorts and a bright yellow pocket T-shirt with the words " The Beer Guy" in the front.

" Alright Mom!!! Geez... I'm going..."

...while he powers down his  HP computer and ending his time as  MacDaddy38 in the adult chat room.
