Personally I think that Morrigan might raise her freakish ultra baby and then later in some DLC thing she might become obsessed with power and try to take over the world with the help of her super kid or something
I don't see where else they could be going with that really

I find it kind of strange how much stock is being put into this plot point for future use, since it's completely optional. It would seem strange that they'd force that choice on everyone for future content.

Well, there's actually a lot you could do with the other NPCs depending on how your game turned out, I guess to a lot, especially those playing as male PCs found Morrigans to be the  most interesting.

I find it interesting too, but everyone talks about this one like it has to be a canon event. There's a lot of potential in it, yes, but the same can be said for a great deal of other completely optional ending events.



I'm not complaining or asking people to stop talking about it; I'm just providing some commentary.

Very possible. I had no trouble at all, but then I had 66 points in cunning and all four coercion skills.

If you're a guy character can you just do it yourself instead of Allistar or does she still insist on him?



Maybe shes just lying so she can be the future queen

Why would she want Alistair when she can have a much better guy, the PC?
That's especially the case if she loves the PC.

I think Allistars just ridiculous , potentially the last night of his life and he outright refuses to have sex on that night AND in the process knowingly puts his life at risk for the next day

I expected him to refuse flat-out, so it isn't ridiculous. He's a virgin unless the femPC has sex with him along the way, and he is very reserved about having sex even with the PC when they're in love.

To ask him to sleep with Morrigan (whom he hates), and father a child with her is a little much to ask. And it doesn't take much at all to get him to accept the offer. All I did was tell him the plan and asked if he trusted my judgment, and he hopped right into bed with her.

i read on some forum one guy i think from BioWare just said that the story of Morrigan its not finished yet



so i asume there will be more and more and more-.-

Since Flemeth's soul can reincarnate/possess another body like the archdemon, I think Flemeth will have something to do with the child as well, seeing how it would be easier for Flemeth to find Morrigan once she disappears into the wilds with the child bearing the Old God soul.

Unfortunately the her waiting in your room part doesn't help....its obviously an issue brought up regardless...

as opposed to one that is sought (e.g. like the personal quests)

He'll say it outright if you ask him bluntly. I feel bad feeding him to Morrigan...

Yep and probably based off of the male PC, too.  Because heaven forbid you make the female PC be the canon background.
