I don't have one. It's no fun if I design my own romance. Then there's nothing new there and what's the fun in that? It's like opening a gift you already know the contents of.
I agree! I don't have a specific dream romance (although there are character types and elements that I'm fond of)--I like being surprised and finding out what the writers came up with. They can come up with things you never thought of.

Personally, I'm happy to take whatever Bioware decides to give me. As long as it isn't some version of Anomen. Is it bad that I hated him about as much as the actual villans?
Why all the Anomen hate?! He was kinda cute! I mean, sure, he was a giant douche, but he had his good qualities.
Lawl, as if. I chunked that bastard as soon as I could.

Leliana: "I love your eye-lashes. They're like little butterflies.
I want to catch them, and put them in a jar."
*Warden looks for nearest window*
Jokes aside, in truth, I love how eccentric she was. As for Dragon Age 2? Well, honestly, Aveline seems like she might just be my Hawke's desire. Aside from all the things I loved about Leliana, I also find Strong women (physically and otherwise) very, very appealing. Aveline, if she does turn out to be one of the LI options, is clearly made of strong stuff. The choice she is given at the start of the game (shown at PAX) makes that clear enough. Also, her background as a Templar's wife might have helped create a complex story. We will have to wait and see. But, as I said, regardless of whom is placed before us to seek Romance with, I know Gaider and the team will make them incredibly interesting; possibly even to the point of obsession. I'm looking at you Morrigan-a-holics.

In dragon age I chose Alistair because of his personality, he made me laugh. But my favorite bioware romance is definetely Garrus's, and that had nothing to do with personality or how he looked.
In short my ideal DA2 romance would have Brandon Keener as a voice actor.
You have fantastic taste.
When I pick my LIs in Bioware games, it all comes down to me talking to them for the first time and pretty much just going DAT VOICE. From there, the deal is sealed be it male or female. That being said, Bethany better have the least attractive voice to me or I will feel weird about playing DA2.
...mostly kidding. Mostly.

"my preffered rpg romance for the charecters would be to have more than 4 romance options, the ability to play matchmaker with my team mates & hook them up with others & a Alistair x Warden esc brilliantly written romance with all the laughs, drama & tough choices that one had(the other 3 fell dreadfully short in comparison)

Jaheira 2. Not an exact clone, just something appealing to the same demographic. All romances appeal to a certain attitude, and for as many times as they've used the Morrigan-type romance I don't think one rehash of the Jeheira style would be a bad thing.
Someone mentioned Aveline as a possibility... seems pretty Jaheira 2 to me... another much older woman who (pure speculation on my part... don't know what happens with the escape from Lothering yet, obviously) acts as a guardian of sorts until you come into your own, who loses her husband... umm, actually, the Jaheira romance was kinda creepy, I thought. Still, the best out of the four.

Mine would definately have to be an elf. The fact that Dragon Age and DAO did not really made me sad
Other than that don't really care
You dream about having a fictional relationship with a video game character ?

That'd be nice, I'd like to see that.
Yeah...Jeheira did get over Kahlied's death quickly, didn't she? I thought they did a good job with the transition, could have done with more time between his death and her coming on to you, but I think they did it the best way they could. They did have a few love talks at the start with her just getting over Kahleid after all.

She didn't seem to get over him too quickly, at least to me... and she kept having those dreams about him that made her feel hella guilty... no the creepiness is how she was practically my mom in the first game. Gorion gave her and Khalid specific instructions to keep you safe if he died... they're like your foster-parents X(
@the Bethany picture... someone should start a pool on how long after release it takes for someone to mod a Bethany romance XD
[EDIT] @Russalka: you realize that if you remove all the characters you mention, we're left with children and animals, right? No recycled women, no recycled men. But we can recycle that uncomfortable morning when I woke up with Schmooples sniffing around a certain orifice. Ah, good times.

Please do mind there is a difference between creating a new character and making a character so like that cute and hot and doable and nice companion we had in that [insert Bioware game title here].
