My technique is to sit down against the hill with the party on hold, three archers and the mage hitting the same target as a group. Picking them off one by one, as they run down the hill. If you stay level with the Redcliffe gang you don’t initiate a full scale assault, no life lost at the top.

If you chase down and stop just behind the Redcliffe archer in the village you can use the same tactic picking targets off one by one as they come in. Even as the bottom attack starts you quickly pick off all before any one loses a life once again the entire blue team is saved.

We don’t even use enhanced arrows; rapid fire mode is a must though, as are rapid aim Longbows and a quick finger on the pause button for target selection (the side winder mouse helps with this having pause and highlight on buttons three and four).
