I don't see why people have problems with French accents, to be honest. I didn't mind Isolde in the slightest.



Plus, her voice acting when Conner was going to be killed was AMAZING.

Plus if this quote from Loghain: "Love or no, Cailan was going to cast my daughter aside and wed himself to that b*tch, Celene." is anything to go by I'd say she's also a bit of a b*tch. This could be simple prejudice of Loghain's part, but I don't think so.

Well, Loghain hates Orlesians and he has no reason to like a person who was to replace his own beloved daughter.  He's hardly an unbiased source of information.

That being said, Celene must possess some ruthlessness (though perhaps not "b*tchiness") in order to have and maintain the position she has now.

To be honest, all of the orlesian voices (from my point of view) are viable, ok I've only been to France three times but... just because a voice is annoying doesn't mean it's unrealistic, look at Jowan after all.

I had no problem with it personally. It's a good way to 'show' there's different kinds of people in the World of Thedas. I wonder what they'll come up with next.....I'd love some Irish or Scottisch accent.

Leliana's voice actress was French, and was fine. 

Isolde's was Greek-English.  Marjolaine's was American.  They were less good.

Haha, yes. It's amusing that people think Leliana wasn't voiced by a "real" French woman, because her accent isn't that fake Hollywood French.

I felt Isolde was fine (the voice, that is, I still wanted to punch the character hard ). Marjolaine sounded very french. I didn't really liked her accent because it was simply too heavy-handed, but that aside it was a the true deal.
