1. A person gets a damaged Litho - destroys it and sends proof.
2. Jedi receives data - numerical, visual proof of destroyed Litho...sends off alternate replacement.
3. Jedi retains several extra, pre-printed, unsigned, Normandy Litho's - sends set number of Lithos and specifics off to be indivdually numbered and signed by artists. (
the process that is currently in the works)
4. Newly signed backups/clones can now be sold...Profit!
(#3 Mathmatics - There were 500 signed Lithos...Hypothetically, lets say all were sold except 25 that were held up by Jedi for replacements. But lets say that 50! were damaged in transit, destroyed by the customer, and the pictures were reviewed and approved by Jedi. So of the 50 destroyed Litho's, only 25 got immidiately replaced by those Jedi kept back, and another 25 are needed...but Jedi is having those 50 destroyed Lithos remade - 25 of which will be used as replacements, making the other 25 available to purchase... simplisticly, (25 - 50) + 50 = 25)
Really, its a genius plan - in the end, everyone should get a mint condition Litho, without flooding ebay with over-expensive, damaged Litho's that the original buyer basically got for free...and Bioware Store is able to sell the maximum amount of Litho's at a reasonable price, as apposed to giving away replacements, while controlling any risk of 'duplication' by requiring the destruction of the damaged original (which for all intents and purposes should be exactly the same as the cloned Litho that has been made)...
...this is all assuming i know what the hell I'm talking about...
