Hey guys,
I don't know if this has happened before, but when trying to leave Yaisog's lair, I recieved the "You have encountered something on the way to your destination" message. Cool! What is it? I don't know, because it didn't load a new area. Just still sitting there at the door, except that my PCs can't move because of a "status issue". I tried reloading from the autosave, and same thing.
Anyone seen this before?

I've got exactly the same problem. I noticed that you can control other party members when this happens, but that having them use the area transition skips the encounter entirely and just takes the party where they were originally going, which doesn't really help since the encounter is mandatory for continuing the story.
Last time I went through the game I didn't have any problems, but that was before installing the two expansion packs. I DID use the "rs kr_roster_edit" command to swap out party members once, but I didn't mess around with any of the other functions so I doubt this is what's causing the bug. Everything's patched up all the way, as well. Is there a debug mode teleport command that could be used to warp to the site of the encounter? I can't seem to find a teleport command, or a list of map names to be used with said (hopefully existing) teleport command.
If anybody's got an answer, I'd be much obliged; Janarc here seems to be the only person to ever have the same problem, if my Googling is any judge.

Finally got around to messing with the "rs gr_dm" command, which summons the Dungeon Master and allows for a variety of functions, most notably a teleport command. Unfortunately, I'm supposed to input a 'tag' for the object I want to warp to. Where would I find these tags so that I could hopefully get this show back on the road?

Finally, I've got a solution!
I used the NWN2 Toolset to get the area name for where you're supposed to meet Casavir (1312_swdmtncasav), as well as a couple other object tags just in case I was dumb and did something wrong. After an embarrassingly long time trying to figure out how to use the REGULAR chat window in order to enter the names for the Dungeon Master (just had to press enter), the aforementioned area name instead transported me to a random room in the same area I was in. Whoops.
I tried again with one of the random object tags I'd copied down from the ambush site (PLC_MR_WAGON01BR) and presto, I was in the middle of a pack of angry orcs.who promptly killed Qara, but big whoop, things were working again. The cutscenes and everything fired off properly and it looks like it's gonna be just fine. Hope that helps, Janarc, assuming you still need it by now.
I'd sure like to know WHY that weird problem happened in the first place, though. It's a hassle to deal with, but at least I know how to deal with it now, if not how to prevent it outright.

I created an account just so I could reply to this. THANK YOU VORTEX1991. I had this glitch too! It's ridiculous.
I tried reloading various saves, going out through different entrances, etc. No matter what, I couldn't do what the walkthrough (and my other save file) told me - meet Casavir.
Again, thank you.

Glad it helped somebody else, even if it IS a rather clunky solution. For what it's worth, I never once ran into a similar problem all through the original campaign and the MotB expansion, so you should be in the clear.
