I was reading through the codex and under the heading:  Humanity and the Systems Alliance... timeline is very interesting.

Says shepard was born in the year; 2154

The current date is : 2185

Thus he is 31....   i read in some post some where but cant remember where, someone said he was 22. Well, anyways...

2 years before him 30% of chidren in singapore where exposed to the element zero dust (2151) were experiencing cancerious growth and some biotic abilities.

Well, that sort of depends on how you define age. Do you define it as the number of years that have passed since you were born, or the number of years that you have been alive?



This is usually not an issue, but Shepard is sort of a special case ;D

Personally, I go by the number of years he has been alive, and thus see him as 29 years old.

Shepard would, of course, not have been dead for the full duration of the two years, but we don't really know when he(or she) made the transition from being dead to being comatose, so just for the hell of it I consider Shepard to be 29 years old ;D

He is 31... deal with it. He likely became comatose more than a year before his full recovery.

Depending on the operation of Shepard revival, it might have lengthened his lifespan, or considerably shortened it (I'm hoping the latter will be plot point in ME3)
