You can contact EA about getting the disc replaced via their warranty program. I'd try that first. Or you can buy the game again for something like $26 from Amazon.com. Or perhaps even less used.

Yeah, try keeping your game discs in a disc case. I noticed that the disc is really hard to remove from the Collectors' Edition case, and I didn't want to break it.

Really BioWare has to look into the damages created from the CE case, and plan better when ME3 rolls around.

I ruined a disk once and had to bite the bullet and buy a used copy. I just got one of those fancy new Halo Reach 360s with the 250GB hard drive so I am going to try to install the game to HD.

Does anybody it possible to install two-disk games to hard-drive with the 360? If so does this mean no disk-swapping will be required?

You still have to swap discs.

Yeah I read that and it sucks. My disks are still at risk of being eaten by the 360. So is there any advantage to installing the game to the hard drive?

The obvious thing would be to see what you can do with the disc: clean it for example, and perhaps put it through a repairer to see if that solves the problem.

Official XBox advice suggests something like removing the HDD as well (which sounds a bit odd but there you go); in which case clearing the cache might also be something to try.

If every course of action fails (including things I haven't suggested here), then there's really only one thing left for you to do. More recent threads have that info, though it's probably just cheaper to pick up a 'new' copy.
