If you could create a South Park episode about dragon age.... how would you make it?

Well, obviously making a crack about the difficulty or something. But can't really think of much. Will have to play the game first.

Unlike the WoW (where they're actually playing it) I would have South Park Overrun by "The Blight" and have some comedic reasoning for using Swords and Shields over guns.. and naturally.. someone would need to have 'been gone for a few episodes' leading up.. then come back as a Magi.



I suppose I could flesh it out a lot more.. but uhh.. that's all I got.

Obviously the Broodmother will be there. Also mock the Fantasy trope of evil generic monsters. Again I have to play it.


On a serious note, if South Park did an episode on DA:O, you will never see the game same way again. They ripped into WoW pretty hard.

And I continue to laugh to this day about that WOW episode. <wipes tear>

I imagine everything that's been mentioned above, but also they would probably be randomly splattered with blood for no apparent reason at random intervals.

I don't know about that. They had the same critisism of World of Warcraft that I've heard dozens of times.

The purported "maturity" of the game, or at least what the marketing has chosen to show of it, is pretty easy pickings for jokes sometimes.

Kenny dies in every encounter

Stan and Wendy have a romance, and when the big moment finally arrives; the scene cuts to black and all you hear is gut wrenching stomach heaving - "blechhhhhhh", and Wendy yelling "EWWWWW!!!"

Cartmen tries to shape shift into a really corpulent bloated spider who's legs can't support him.
"Ay'm soouch a bweefcake, Ay can't even stand up.... BEEFCAKE!!"

Ms./Mr. Garrison shows up in the brothel under the option marked "other".

I'd wager the heavy metal music would be a running gag too. Except it would only play when they're doing mundane things instead of combat.

I don't know about that. They had the same criticism of World of Warcraft that I've heard dozens of times.

But it was on a rare occasion those criticisms were actually presented in a visual media of some popularity. Sure, those crticisms like addiction and all had been flying ever since the MMO burst onto the scene, but it was one of the first times a popular media franchise decided to pick upon those criticisms and present it in an episode. Although they may have never ripped into WoW, only cemented it's popularity.

(The gang stabs it and the blood comes out like a fountain)



Stan: Dude, that's f***** up right there, how unrealistic is that ?



Cartman: No you guys it's like a mature game so it's supposed to happen.



Kenny; ma, ma ,am ,ma.



The Three in unison: Good point dude, it's Bioware they know how to make mature games.



Cartman: hey guys there is a brothel over there, let's get some action



Kyle: Oh man that's sick.



Stan: Nah dude, it's a mature game ,remember.



(Silence)



Cartman: What are we supposed to do in this stupid game.



Kyle: Destroy the ring or something, I don't know.



Cartman: Hey guys I am going to take a dump over in the bushes



(Marilyn's this the new sh** music plays while Cartman takes a dump)

I think they had a brief reference to Fallout 3 when Butters started living in a junkyard with a dog, though I could be wrong.

Hate to burst your bubble but the episode your talking about, Casa Bonita, came out in 2003.
